Galatians 3
1 You foolish Galatians! Whose sophistry has bewitched you--you to whom Jesus Christ has been vividly portrayed as on the Cross?
୧ଏ ବକୁଆ ଗାଲାତିଅମନ୍! କେ ତମ୍କେ ଏନ୍ତାରି ବୁଲ୍ ସିକିଆ ଦେଇ ଚଟ୍ପଟ୍ କରାଇଲାନି? ତମର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ତା କୁର୍ସେ ମରିରଇବା ଜିସୁ କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ବିସଇ ଅର୍ସା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାତାଇ ଦେଇଆଚୁ ।
2 Answer me this one question, "Is it on the ground of your obedience to the Law that you received the Spirit, or is it because, when you heard, you believed?"
୨ଗଟେକ୍ କାତା ମକେ କଇଦେକାପନି, ମସାର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମାନ୍ଲାକେ ତମେ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମା ପାଇଆଚାସ୍ କି, ସୁବ୍କବର୍ ସୁନି ସେଟା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାକେ?
3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now going to reach perfection through what is external?
୩ତମେ କେନ୍ତାର୍ ଏତେକ୍ ବୁଦି ନଇଲା ଲକର୍ ପାରା ଅଇଗାଲାସ୍ନି? ଆତ୍ମାର୍ ବପୁ ପାଇକରି ତମେ ଜନ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ଆରାମ୍ କଲାସ୍, ସେଟା କାଇ ନିଜର୍ ବପୁସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାରାଇବାକେ ମନ୍କଲାସ୍ନି କି?
4 Have you endured such sufferings to no purpose--if indeed it has been to no purpose?
୪ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ତମେ ଆଗ୍ତୁ ସିକ୍ଲାଟା ସବୁ ବେକାର୍ କି? ତେଇଅନି କାଇଟା ମିସା ସିକାସ୍ ନାଇ କି?
5 He who gives you His Spirit and works miracles among you--does He do so on the ground of your obedience to the Law, or is it the result of your having heard and believed:
୫ପର୍ମେସର୍ କାଇକେ ତାର୍ ଆତ୍ମା ଦେଇ ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କାବାଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ମନ୍ କଲା? ତମେ ମସାର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମାନ୍ଲାର୍ ପାଇ କି ଜନ୍ ସୁବ୍କବର୍ ତମ୍କେ ଜାନାଇରଇଲାଇ ସେଟା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାକେ?
6 even as Abraham believed God, and his faith was placed to his account as righteousness?
୬ଅବ୍ରାଆମର୍ କାତା ଏତାଇ ଦେକା । ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାଆଚେ, “ସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ କଇଲା ବିସଇ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲା । ଆରି ତାର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଲାଗି ପରମେସର୍ ତାକେ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ଇସାବେ ଲେକା କଲା ।”
7 Notice therefore that those who possess faith are true sons of Abraham.
୭ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାଇ, ସେମନ୍ସେ ଅବ୍ରାଆମର୍ କୁଟୁମର୍ ଲକ୍ । ଏଟା ତମେ ଜାନ୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that in consequence of faith God would declare the nations to be free from guilt, sent beforehand the Good News to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed."
୮ପୁର୍ବେଅନି ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାଅଇଲା ଆଚେ ଜେ, ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲେସେ ପରମେସର୍ ଜିଉଦିନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ମିସା ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ଇସାବେ ଲେକା କର୍ସି । ପରମେସର୍ ତମର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଜଗତର୍ ସବୁ ଲକ୍କେ ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ କର୍ସି । ଏ କବର୍ ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍କେ ଜାନାଇ ଦିଆଅଇରଇଲା ।
9 So we see that it is those who possess faith that are blessed with believing Abraham.
୯ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରି ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ ପାଇରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ଜେତ୍କି ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାଇ, ସେମନ୍ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ ତାର୍ ପାରା ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ ପାଇବାଇ ।
10 All who are depending upon their own obedience to the Law are under a curse, for it is written, "Cursed is every one who does not remain faithful to all the precepts of the Law, and practise them."
୧୦ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ରିତିନିତିର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମାନ୍ଲୁନି ବଲି ବଡ୍ପନ୍ ଅଇବାଇ, ସେମନ୍ ସାଇପ୍ ପାଇବାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଦରମ୍ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାଆଚେ, “ମସାର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ବଇଟାନେ ଜାଇଟା ସବୁ ଲେକାଅଇଲା ଆଚେ, ଜଦି କେ ସେଟା ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ନ ମାନେ, ସେ ପରମେସରର୍ ସାଇପ୍ ପାଇସି ।”
11 It is evident, too, that no one can find acceptance with God simply by obeying the Law, because "the righteous shall live by faith,"
୧୧ଏଟା ନିକସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାନାପଡ୍ଲାନି । ରିତିନିତିର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମାନିକରି କେ ମିସା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦରମ୍ ବଲାଇଅଇ ନ ଅଅତ୍ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଲାଗି ବଁଚ୍ବାଇ ।
12 and the Law has nothing to do with faith. It teaches that "he who does these things shall live by doing them."
୧୨ନିୟମ୍ ମାନ୍ବାଟା ଆରି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବାଟା ଦୁଇଟା ମୁଲ୍କେ ନ ମିସେ । ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାଆଚେ, ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ ନିୟମର୍ ଦାବି ଇସାବେ କାମ୍ କର୍ସି ସେ ଜିବନ୍ ପାଇସି ।
13 Christ has purchased our freedom from the curse of the Law by becoming accursed for us--because "Cursed is every one who is hanged upon a tree."
୧୩ଆମେ କେ ମିସା ନିୟମର୍ ସବୁ ଆଦେସ୍ ମାନି ନାପାରୁ । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ଆମେ ସବୁ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇବାର୍ ରଇଲା । ମାତର୍ କିରିସ୍ଟ ଆମର୍ ସାଇପ୍ ନିଜେ ନେଲା ଆରି ନିୟମର୍ ସାଇପେଅନି ଆମ୍କେ ମୁକ୍ଲାଇଲା । ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାଆଚେ, ଜେ ଗଚେ ଉଚ୍କିଅଇ ମର୍ସି, ସେ ପରମେସରର୍ତେଇ ଅନି ସାଇପ୍ ପାଇଲା ଲକ୍!
14 Our freedom has been thus purchased in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing belonging to Abraham may come upon the nations, so that through faith we may receive the promised Spirit.
୧୪ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍ ଜନ୍ ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ସପତ୍ କରିରଇଲା ଜିଉଦି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ମିସା ସେଟା ପାଇବାଇ, ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ କିରିସ୍ଟ ଏ କାମ୍ କଲାଆଚେ । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରି ଆମେ ମିସା ପରମେସରର୍ କାତା ଦେଲା ଇସାବେ ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମା ପାଇପାରୁ ।
15 Brethren, even a covenant made by a man--to borrow an illustration from daily life--when once formally sanctioned is not liable to be set aside or added to.
୧୫ଏ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍! ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍କେ ଜନ୍ ସପତ୍ ଦେଇ ରଇଲା, ସେଟା ବାତାଇବାକେ ମୁଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଉଦାଅରନ୍ କଇବି। ଜେଡେବଲ୍ ଦୁଇ ଲକ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ବିସଇତେଇ ରାଜିନାମା ଲେକ୍ବାଇ, ସେ ରାଜିନାମା କେ ମିସା ବାଙ୍ଗାଇ ନାପାରତ୍ । କି ତେଇ କାଇଟା ମିସାଇ ନାପାରତ୍ ।
16 (Now the promises were given to Abraham and to his seed. God did not say "and to seeds," as if speaking of many, but "and to your seed," since He spoke of only one--and this is Christ.)
୧୬ସେନ୍ତାର୍ସେ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍ ଆରି ତାର୍ ନାତିତିତିକେସେ ସପତ୍ ଦେଇରଇଲା । ଏ ବିସଇନେଇ ନାତିତିତିମନ୍ ବଲି ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକାରଇବାଟା, ଅବ୍ରାଆମର୍ ସବୁ ନାତିତିତିମନ୍କେ କଏନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେସେ କଇଲାଆଚେ । ଜେ କି କିରିସ୍ଟ ।
17 I mean that the Covenant which God had already formally made is not abrogated by the Law which was given four hundred and thirty years later--so as to annul the promise.
୧୭ମର୍ କଇବାର୍ ଅରତ୍ ଅଇଲାନି, ପରମେସର୍ ଅବ୍ରାଆମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ରାଜିନାମା ତିଆର୍ କରିରଇଲା, ଆରି ସେଟା ମାନ୍ବାକେ ସପତ୍ କରିରଇଲା । ଜନ୍ ନିୟମ୍ ଚାରି ସଅ ତିରିସ୍ ବରସ୍ ପଚେ ଦିଆଅଇଲା, ସେ ନିୟମର୍ ରାଜିନାମା କେ ମିସା ବାଙ୍ଗାଇ ଦେଇ, ପରମେସରର୍ ଦେଇରଇବା ସପତ୍ ନସ୍ଟ କରିନାପାରେ ।
18 For if the inheritance comes through obedience to Law, it no longer comes because of a promise. But, as a matter of fact, God has granted it to Abraham in fulfilment of a promise.
୧୮ପରମେସରର୍ ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ ପାଇବାଟା ଜଦି ନିୟମ୍ ମାନ୍ବା ଉପ୍ରେ ଅଇସି ବଇଲେ, ତେବେ ସେଟା ଆରି ତାକର୍ ସପତର୍ ଲାଗି ଅଇଲାଟା ବଲି କଇ ନଏଁ । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ପରମେସର୍ ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍କେ ଅବ୍କା ତାର୍ ସପତ୍ ଇସାବେ ସେ ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ ଦେଇରଇଲା ।
19 Why then was the Law given? It was imposed later on for the sake of defining sin, until the seed should come to whom God had made the promise; and its details were laid down by a mediator with the help of angels.
୧୯ତେବେ ନିୟମ୍ କାଇକେ ଦିଆଅଇଲା? ମୁନୁସର୍ ସତ୍ ନ ଅଇବା ସବୁ କାମ୍ ଦେକାଇ ଦେବାକେ ଦିଆଅଇଲା । ଆରି ଅବ୍ରାଆମର୍ ଜନ୍ କୁଟୁମ୍ ଦେକି ପରମେସର୍ ସେ ସପତ୍ କରିରଇଲା, ସେ ଲକ୍ ଆଇବା ଜାକ ନିୟମର୍ ଦର୍କାର୍ ରଇଲା । ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ମାଲାକାରିଆ କରାଇ ସରଗର୍ ଦୁତ୍ମନର୍ ଆତେ ନିୟମ୍ ପାଟାଇରଇଲା ।
20 But there cannot be a mediator where only one individual is concerned.
୨୦ମାତର୍ ଅବ୍ରାଆମ୍କେ ସପତ୍ ଦେଲା ବେଲେ ମାଲାକାରିଆମନ୍ ନ ରଇଲାଇ । ପର୍ମେସର୍ ନିଜେସେ ସପତ୍ କରିରଇଲାଇ ।
21 God, however, is only one. Is the Law then opposed to the promises of God? No, indeed; for if a Law had been given which could have conferred Life, righteousness would certainly have come by the Law.
୨୧ନିୟମ୍ କାଇ ପରମେସରର୍ ସପତ୍ ବିରଦ୍ କଲାନି କି? ନାଇ କେବେ ନାଇ! କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଲକ୍କେ ଜିବନ୍ ଦେଲାପାରା ଗଟେକ୍ ନିୟମ୍ କରା ଅଇତା, ତେବେ ସେଟା ମାନ୍ଲେସରି ସେ ପରମେସରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦସ୍ ନ କଲାଲକ୍ ବଲାଇ ଅଇତା ।
22 But Scripture has shown that all mankind are the prisoners of sin, in order that the promised blessing, which depends on faith in Jesus Christ, may be given to those who believe.
୨୨ମାତର୍ ଦରମ୍ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଆଚେ, ସବୁ ମୁନୁସ୍ ଜାତି ପାପର୍ ତଲେ ଆଚତ୍, ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ କିରିସ୍ଟ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍, ଜିସୁ କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ତେଇ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାର୍ ପାଇ ସପତର୍, ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ ପାଇବାଇ ।
23 Before this faith came, we Jews were perpetual prisoners under the Law, living under restraints and limitations in preparation for the faith which was soon to be revealed.
୨୩ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଜୁଗ୍ ଆଇବା ଆଗ୍ତୁ ଆରି ଦେକାଇଅଇବା ଜାକ, ନିୟମ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ବନ୍ଦି କରି ରକିରଇଲା ।
24 So that the Law has acted the part of a tutor-slave to lead us to Christ, in order that through faith we may be declared to be free from guilt.
୨୪କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ଆଇବା ଜାକ ଆମେ ନିୟମର୍ ତଲେ ରଇଲୁ । ମାତର୍ ତାର୍ ପଚେ, କାଲି ବିସ୍ବାସେଅନି ଆମେ ପରମେସରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଦସି ନଇଲା ଲକ୍ ବଲାଇ ଅଇବୁ ।
25 But now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor-slave.
୨୫ଏବେ ବିସ୍ବାସର୍ ଜୁଗ୍ କେଟିଆଚେ, ଆମେ ଆରି ନିୟମର୍ ତଲେ ନାଇ ।
26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus;
୨୬ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାକେ କିରିସ୍ଟ ଜିସୁର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସିକରି, ଆମେ ସବୁ ପରମେସରର୍ ପିଲାଟକି ଅଇଆଚୁ ।
27 for all of you who have been baptized into Christ, have clothed yourselves with Christ.
୨୭ଆମେ ଡୁବନ୍ ନେଇକରି କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଅଇଆଚୁ ଆରି ଏବେ ଜିସୁ କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ଜିବନ୍ ରୁପର୍ ବସ୍ତର୍ ପିନ୍ଦି ଆଚୁ ।
28 In Him the distinctions between Jew and Gentile, slave and free man, male and female, disappear; you are all one in Christ Jesus.
୨୮ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ଜିଉଦି ଆରି ଜିଉଦିନଇଲା ଲକ୍, ଗେନାଅଇଲା ଗତିଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡାଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡି କି ମୁକ୍ଲାଇଲା ଲକ୍, ମୁନୁସ୍ କି ମାଇଜି ବିତ୍ରେ, କାଇଟା ମିସା ବିନ୍ ନାଇ । ଆମେ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସିକରି ଗଟେକ୍ ଅଇଆଚୁ ।
29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are indeed true descendants of Abraham, and are heirs in fulfilment of the promise.
୨୯ଜଦି ତମେ କିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ଲକ୍, ତେବେ ତମେ ମିସା ଅବ୍ରାଆମର୍ କୁଟୁମର୍ ଆରି ପରମେସର୍ ଜାଇଟା ସପତ୍ କଲାଆଚେ, ସେଟା ମିଲାଇସା ।
