Ephesians 6
1 Children, be obedient to your parents as a Christian duty, for it is a duty.
௧பிள்ளைகளே, உங்களுடைய பெற்றோருக்குக் கர்த்தருக்குள் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள், இதுவே சரியானது.
2 "Honour your father and your mother" --this is the first Commandment which has a promise added to it--
௨உனக்கு நன்மை உண்டாயிருப்பதற்கும், பூமியிலே உன் ஆயுசுநாட்கள் அதிகரிப்பதற்கும்,
3 "so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth."
௩உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக என்பதே தேவன் வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணின முதலாம் கட்டளையாக இருக்கிறது.
4 And you, fathers, do not irritate your children, but bring them up tenderly with true Christian training and advice.
௪தகப்பன்மார்களே, நீங்களும் உங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளைக் கோபப்படுத்தாமல், கர்த்தருக்கேற்ற ஒழுக்கத்திலும் போதனையிலும் அவர்களை வளர்த்துங்கள்.
5 Slaves, be obedient to your earthly masters, with respect and eager anxiety to please and with simplicity of motive as if you were obeying Christ.
௫வேலைக்காரர்களே, நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவிற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதுபோல, சரீரத்தின்படி உங்களுடைய எஜமான்களாக இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் பயத்தோடும் மரியாதையோடும் நேர்மையுள்ள மனதோடும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து;
6 Let it not be in acts of eye-service as if you had but to please men, but as Christ's bondservants who are doing God's will from the heart.
௬மனிதர்களுக்குப் பிரியமாக இருக்கவிரும்புகிறவர்களாக அவர்களுடைய பார்வைக்கு ஊழியம் செய்யாமல், கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியக்காரர்களாக, மனப்பூர்வமாக தேவனுடைய விருப்பத்தின்படி செய்யுங்கள்.
7 With right good will, be faithful to your duty as service rendered to the Lord and not to man.
௭அடிமையானவன் என்றாலும், சுதந்திரமானவன் என்றாலும், அவனவன் செய்கிற நன்மையின்படியே கர்த்தரிடத்தில் பலனை பெறுவான் என்று அறிந்து,
8 You well know that whatever right thing any one does, he will receive a requital for it from the Lord, whether he is a slave or a free man.
௮மனிதருக்கென்று ஊழியம் செய்யாமல், கர்த்தருக்கென்றே நல்லமனதோடு ஊழியம் செய்யுங்கள்.
9 And you masters, act towards your slaves on the same principles, and refrain from threats. For you know that in Heaven there is One who is your Master as well as theirs, and that merely earthly distinctions there are none with Him.
௯எஜமான்களே, அப்படியே நீங்களும், வேலைக்காரர்களுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியவைகளைச் செய்து, அவர்களுக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் எஜமானானவர் பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கிறார் என்றும், அவரிடத்தில் பட்சபாதம் இல்லை என்றும் அறிந்து, கடுமையான வார்த்தைகளை விட்டுவிடுங்கள்.
10 In conclusion, strengthen yourselves in the Lord and in the power which His supreme might imparts.
௧0கடைசியாக, என் சகோதரர்களே, கர்த்தரிலும் அவருடைய வல்லமையிலும் பலப்படுங்கள்.
11 Put on the complete armour of God, so as to be able to stand firm against all the stratagems of the Devil.
௧௧நீங்கள் பிசாசின் தந்திரங்களோடு எதிர்த்து நிற்கத் திறமையுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, தேவனுடைய சர்வாயுதங்களையும் அணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
12 For ours is not a conflict with mere flesh and blood, but with the despotisms, the empires, the forces that control and govern this dark world--the spiritual hosts of evil arrayed against us in the heavenly warfare. (aiōn g165)
௧௨ஏனென்றால், சரீரத்தோடும் இரத்தத்தோடும் இல்லை, ஆளுகைகளோடும், அதிகாரங்களோடும், இந்த உலகத்தின் இருளின் அதிபதிகளோடும், வானமண்டலங்களிலுள்ள பொல்லாத ஆவிகளின் படைகளோடும் நமக்குப் போராட்டம் உண்டு. (aiōn g165)
13 Therefore put on the complete armour of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground on the day of battle, and, having fought to the end, to remain victors on the field.
௧௩எனவே, தீங்குநாளிலே அவைகளை நீங்கள் எதிர்க்கவும், எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்துமுடித்தவர்களாக நிற்கவும் திறமையுள்ளவர்களாகும்படி, தேவனுடைய சர்வாயுதங்களையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
14 Stand therefore, first fastening round you the girdle of truth and putting on the breastplate of uprightness
௧௪சத்தியம் என்னும் கச்சையை உங்களுடைய இடுப்பில் கட்டினவர்களாகவும், நீதி என்னும் மார்புக்கவசத்தை அணிந்தவர்களாகவும்;
15 as well as the shoes of the Good News of peace-- a firm foundation for your feet.
௧௫சமாதானத்தின் நற்செய்திக்குரிய ஆயத்தம் என்னும் காலணிகளைக் கால்களிலே தொடுத்தவர்களாகவும்;
16 And besides all these take the great shield of faith, on which you will be able to quench all the flaming darts of the Wicked one;
௧௬சாத்தான் எய்யும் அக்கினி அம்புகளையெல்லாம் அவித்துப்போடத்தக்கதாக, எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக விசுவாசம் என்னும் கேடயத்தைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டவர்களாகவும் நில்லுங்கள்.
17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.
௧௭இரட்சிப்பு என்னும் தலைக்கவசத்தையும், தேவவசனமாகிய ஆவியின் பட்டயத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
18 Pray with unceasing prayer and entreaty on every fitting occasion in the Spirit, and be always on the alert to seize opportunities for doing so, with unwearied persistence and entreaty on behalf of all God's people,
௧௮எந்த நேரத்திலும் எல்லாவிதமான வேண்டுதலோடும் விண்ணப்பத்தோடும் ஆவியினாலே ஜெபம்பண்ணி, அதினால் மிகுந்த மனஉறுதியோடும் எல்லாப் பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கான வேண்டுதலோடும் விழித்துக்கொண்டிருங்கள்.
19 and ask on my behalf that words may be given to me so that, outspoken and fearless, I may make known the truths (hitherto kept secret) of the Good News--
௧௯நற்செய்திக்காகக் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிற பிரதிநிதியாகிய நான் அதைப்பற்றிப் பேசவேண்டியதைத் தைரியமாகப் பேசவும்,
20 to spread which I am an ambassador in chains--so that when telling them I may speak out boldly as I ought.
௨0நான் தைரியமாக என் வாயைத் திறந்து நற்செய்தியின் இரகசியத்தை அறிவிக்கிறதற்கு வாக்கு எனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்படி எனக்காகவும் விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணுங்கள்.
21 But in order that you also may know how I am doing, Tychicus our dearly-loved brother and faithful helper in the Lord's service will tell you everything.
௨௧அன்றியும், நான் செய்யும் காரியங்களையும், என் சுகசெய்திகளையும், நமக்குப் பிரியமான சகோதரனும் கர்த்தருக்குள் உண்மையுள்ள ஊழியக்காரனுமாக இருக்கிற தீகிக்கு உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பான்.
22 I have sent him to you for the very purpose--that you may know about us and that he may encourage you.
௨௨நீங்கள் எங்களுடைய செய்திகளைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவும், அவன் உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் செய்யவும், அவனை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பினேன்.
23 Peace be to the brethren, and love combined with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
௨௩பிதாவாகிய தேவனாலும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலும், சகோதரர்களுக்குச் சமாதானமும் விசுவாசத்துடன் அன்பும் உண்டாவதாக.
24 May grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with perfect sincerity.
௨௪நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவிடம் அழியாத அன்போடு அன்புகாட்டுகிற எல்லோருக்கும் கிருபை உண்டாயிருப்பதாக. ஆமென்.
