< Colossians 3 >

1 If however you have risen with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, enthroned at God's right hand.
Azɔ esi mietsi tsitre kple Kristo tso ku me ta la, midi nu siwo le dziƒo, afi si Kristo bɔbɔ nɔ anyi ɖo le Mawu ƒe ɖusime.
2 Give your minds to the things that are above, not to the things that are on the earth.
Mina dziƒonuwo ŋuti bubu naxɔ miaƒe susuwo me; migagblẽ miaƒe ɣeyiɣiwo anɔ anyigbadzinuwo ŋuti bum o.
3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Elabena mieku, eye wotsɔ mi kpakple Kristo ƒe agbe ɣla ɖe Mawu me.
4 When Christ appears--He is our true Life--then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Ne Kristo si nye miaƒe agbe va do la, ekema miawo hã miado kpakplii le ŋutikɔkɔe me.
5 Therefore put to death your earthward inclinations--fornication, impurity, sensual passion, unholy desire, and all greed, for that is a form of idolatry.
Eya ta migbe nu le anyigbadzinu siwo yɔ fũu kple nu vɔ̃ la gbɔ; miwu didi vɔ̃ siwo le fiefiem le mia me. Migawɔ naneke si ku ɖe ahasiwɔwɔ, makɔmakɔnyenye, fieŋuifieŋui, nudzodzro vɔ̃ kple ŋukeklẽ si nye trɔ̃subɔsubɔ o.
6 It is on account of these very sins that God's anger is coming,
Mawu ƒe dziku helĩhelĩ ava ame siwo wɔa nu siawo la dzi.
7 and you also were once addicted to them, while you were living under their power.
Miewɔa nu siawo tsã esi mienɔ agbe abe xexemetɔ bubuwo ko ene,
8 But now you must rid yourselves of every kind of sin--angry and passionate outbreaks, ill-will, evil speaking, foul-mouthed abuse--so that these may never soil your lips.
gake azɔ la, ɣeyiɣi la de na mi be miaɖe asi le nu siawo katã, siwo nye: dziku, dɔmedzoe, nu to vo wɔwɔ, busunya kple nya vlowo gbɔgblɔ ŋu.
9 Do not speak falsehoods to one another, for you have stripped off the old self with its doings,
Migaka aʋatso na mia nɔewo o; elabena mieɖe agbe xoxo la kple eƒe nuwɔnawo ɖa.
10 and have clothed yourselves with the new self which is being remoulded into full knowledge so as to become like Him who created it.
Azɔ la, miele agbe yeye nɔm, eye agbe yeye nɔnɔ sia na miele nu nyui wɔwɔ srɔ̃m gbe sia gbe le sidzedze me, be mianɔ ame si nye Wɔla la ƒe nɔnɔme me.
11 In that new creation there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free man, but Christ is everything and is in all of us.
Le agbe yeye sia nɔnɔ me la, Grikitɔ, Yudatɔ, aʋatsotsotɔ alo aʋamatsomatsotɔ, ŋkumaʋamaʋutɔ alo Skitiatɔ, kluvi alo ablɔɖevi megali o, ke boŋ wo katã nye kristotɔ, eye Kristo le wo katã me.
12 Clothe yourselves therefore, as God's own people holy and dearly loved, with tender-heartedness, kindness, lowliness of mind, meekness, long-suffering;
Eya ta esi mienye Mawu ƒe ame tiatiawo kple ame kɔkɔewo kpakple lɔlɔ̃viwo ŋuti la, mido dɔmetɔtrɔ, nublanuikpɔkpɔ, ɖokuibɔbɔ, tufafa kple dzigbɔɖi ƒe awuwo na mia ɖokuiwo.
13 bearing with one another and readily forgiving each other, if any one has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, you also must forgive.
Mihe adodo kple mia nɔewo, eye mitsɔ mia nɔewo ƒe vodadawo ke wo. Miɖo ŋku ale si Aƒetɔ la tsɔ miaƒe nu vɔ̃wo ke mii la dzi, eye miawo hã miatsɔ ake mia nɔewo nenema ke.
14 And over all these put on love, which is the perfect bond of union;

15 and let the peace which Christ gives settle all questionings in your hearts, to which peace indeed you were called as belonging to His one Body; and be thankful.
Mina ŋutifafa si tso Kristo gbɔ la naɖu dzi le miaƒe dziwo kple agbenɔnɔ blibo katã me ɣe sia ɣi, elabena esia nye miaƒe dɔdeasi kple mɔnukpɔkpɔ abe ame siwo nye ŋutilã ɖeka ƒe ŋutinuwo ene. Eye mida akpe ɣe sia ɣi.
16 Let the teaching concerning Christ remain as a rich treasure in your hearts. In all wisdom teach and admonish one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and sing with grace in your hearts to God.
Mina be Kristo ƒe nya la natso aƒe ɖe mia me le agbɔsɔsɔ me, esi miele nu fiam, le nu xlɔ̃m mia nɔewo kple Mawu me nunya. Midzi Psalmowo, hadzidziwo kple gbɔgbɔmehawo kple akpedada le miaƒe dziwo me na Mawu.
17 And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, and let it be through Him that you give thanks to God the Father.
Eye nu sia nu si miawɔ la, eɖanye le nya me alo nuwɔwɔ me o, miwɔ wo katã le Aƒetɔ Yesu ƒe ŋkɔ me, eye miada akpe na Mawu Fofo la, to eya amea me.
18 Married women, be submissive to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Mi srɔ̃nyɔnuwo la, mibɔbɔ mia ɖokuiwo na mia srɔ̃wo, elabena esia nye Aƒetɔ la ƒe ɖoɖo na mi.
19 Married men, be affectionate to your wives, and do not treat them harshly.
Eye mi srɔ̃ŋutsuwo hã la, milɔ̃ mia srɔ̃wo, eye mialé be na wo, eye migado dziku ɖe wo ŋuti alo ablu ɖe wo ta o.
20 Children be obedient to your parents in everything; for that is right for Christians.
Mi ɖeviwo la, ele be miabu mia fofowo kple mia dadawo ɣe sia ɣi, elabena esiae dze Aƒetɔ la ŋu.
21 Fathers, do not fret and harass your children, or you may make them sullen and morose.
Mi fofowo la, miganɔ nya hem ɖe mia viwo ŋuti ale gbegbe be dzi naɖe le wo ƒo be woadzudzɔ agbagbadzedze o.
22 Slaves, be obedient in everything to your earthly masters; not in acts of eye service, as aiming only to please men, but with simplicity of purpose, because you fear the Lord.
Mi kluviwo la, miɖo to miaƒe anyigbadziƒetɔwo ɣe sia ɣi; menye to ameŋkumenuwɔwɔ me o, ke boŋ miawɔe ɣe sia ɣi, ne miaƒe aƒetɔwo meli o hã. Miɖo to wo le dzimekɔkɔ kple Aƒetɔ la vɔvɔ̃ me.
23 Whatever you are doing, let your hearts be in your work, as a thing done for the Lord and not for men.
Mitsɔ kutrikuku kple dzidzɔ wɔ nu sia nu si wòle be miawɔ la, abe Aƒetɔ lae miele ewɔm na ene, eye menye abe miaƒe anyigbadziƒetɔwo miele ewɔm na ene o,
24 For you know that it is from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. Christ is the Master whose bondservants you are.

25 The man who perpetrates a wrong will find the wrong repaid to him; and with God there are no merely earthly distinctions.
Ame sia ame si wɔ nu vɔ̃ la, axɔ eƒe nu vɔ̃ ƒe fetu, eye ameŋkumekpɔkpɔ aɖeke manɔ eme o.
