< 3 John 1 >
1 The Elder to his dear friend Gaius. Truly I love you.
Nseya kwa Gayo mpenzi j'hanun'ganili mubhukweli.
2 My dear friend, I pray that you may in all respects prosper and enjoy good health, just as your soul already prospers.
N'ganwa, nikuso'mela ufanikibhwayi mu mambo ghoha ni kuj'ha Ni afya j'honofu, Kama vile roho j'haku kyaj'hifanikibhwa.
3 For it is an intense joy to me when brethren come and bear witness to your fidelity to the truth--that you live in obedience to the truth.
Maana nahobhwiki sana bhwakati panabhalibhu ni bhalongo bhangu bhabhehidili ni kuh'omesya bhushuhuda juu j'ha bhukweli bhwaku, kama vile kyaghwil'ota mubhukweli.
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are living in obedience to the truth.
Njedumu ni furaha zaidi j'ha e`j'he, kup'heleka kuj'ha bhana bhangu bhigenda mubhukweli.
5 My dear friend, you are acting faithfully in all your behaviour towards the brethren, even when they are strangers to you.
N'ganwa, j'heghilota nibhueminifu pawika bhahudumila bhalongobhangu. Na bhahesya.
6 They have testified, in the presence of the Church, to your love; and you will do well to help them on their journey in a manner worthy of your fellowship with God.
Ambabho bah'omisi bhushuhuda bhwa luganu bhwako palongola pa kanisa. Gwik'ete kinofu kubhasafirisha mu safwari syabho kwa namna ambaj'ho j'hikan'ganisya K'yara.
7 For it is for Christ that they have gone forth, accepting nothing from the Gentiles.
Kwa ndabha j'ha lihina bhalotili bila kutola khenu kyokyoha k'hela kuh'oma kwa bhenu bha mataifa.
8 It is therefore our duty to show hospitality to such men, so that we may be fellow workers in promoting the truth.
Henu twilondeka kubhakaribisya bhanu kama abha ili tuj'helayi bhabhomba mbombo bhaj'henu kwa ndabha j'ha bhukweli.
9 I wrote to the Church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the first place among them, refuses to listen to us.
Nalij'handikili likusanyiku lijambo fulani, lakini Diotrofe, j'hapeganili kuj'ha ghwa kabhwandelu mugati mwabhene, ikakubaliana lepi ni tete.
10 For this reason, if I come, I shall not forget his conduct, nor his idle and mischievous talk against us. And he does not stop there: he not only will not receive the brethren, but those who desire to do this he hinders, and excludes them from the Church.
Henu, Kama nibetakuj'ha kuhida nibetakuj'ha kughak'homboka matendu ghake ghaibhomba, jinsi kyaijabha malobhi mabaya kinyume natu. Andhiki lepi ni matendo agha, muene akabhayambelela lepi bhalongo munu. hata ikabhabesya bhangi ambabho bhinoghela kubhakaribisya abhu bhalonngo bhinu ni kubhabhenga bhah'omeyi mu likusanyiku.
11 My dear friend, do not follow wrong examples, but right ones. He who habitually does what is right is a child of God: he who habitually does what is wrong has not seen God.
Mpenzi ukatakuj'hesya kyakij'hele kibhibhi, Bali j'hesiaghe byabij'hele kinofu. Muene j'haibhomba manofu night K'yara; nimuene j'haibhomba mabhibhi ambwedumu K'yara.
12 The character of Demetrius has the approval of all men, and of the truth itself. We also express our approval of it, and you know that we only give our approval to that which is true.
Demotrio ashuhudibhu nibhoha nibhukweli bhene. Tete pia tuj'he mashahindi, na mmanyili kuj'ha bhushuhuda bhitu bhwa bhwikweli.
13 I have a great deal to say to you, but I do not wish to go on writing it with ink and pen.
Njenaghu mambo mingi gha kukulembela, lakini nilondalepi kukulembela kwa kalamu ni bhwino.
14 But I hope to see you very soon, and then we will speak face to face. Peace be with you. Our friends send greetings to you. Greet our friends individually.
Bali nitarajila kutubhona karibuni apa, na twibetakumbona kulongela naghwe pamihu kwa pamihu. Amani ij'helayi pamonga naghwe. Bhamanyani bhikuponesya. Bhaponesiayi bhamanyani kila mmonga kwa lihina lyake.
