2 Timothy 3
1 But of this be assured: in the last days grievous times will set in.
౧చివరి దినాల్లో అపాయకరమైన రోజులు వస్తాయని నీవు గ్రహించాలి.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, profane. They will be disobedient to parents, thankless, irreligious,
౨మనుషులు స్వార్థపరులుగా, ధనాశపరులుగా, గొప్పలు చెప్పుకొనేవారుగా ఉంటారు. వారు గర్విష్టులు, దైవ దూషణ చేసేవారు, కన్నవారికి అవిధేయులు, చేసిన మేలు మరిచేవారు, అపవిత్రులు,
3 destitute of natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers. They will have no self-control, but will be brutal, opposed to goodness,
౩బొత్తిగా సహజ ప్రేమ లేనివారు, ఇతరులతో సామరస్యంగా ఉండలేనివారు, దుర్భాషలాడేవారు, నిగ్రహం లేనివారు, క్రూరులు, మంచిని ద్వేషించేవారు.
4 treacherous, headstrong, self-important. They will love pleasure instead of loving God,
౪వారు ద్రోహులు, తలబిరుసు మనుషులు, గర్వాంధులు, దేవునికంటే శరీర సౌఖ్యాన్నే ఎక్కువగా ప్రేమించేవారు.
5 and will keep up a make-believe of piety and yet live in defiance of its power. Turn away from people of this sort.
౫వారు పైకి భక్తి గలవారిలా ఉంటారు గానీ దాని శక్తిపై ఆధారపడరు. వారికి దూరంగా ఉండు.
6 Among them are included the men who make their way into private houses and carry off weak women as their prisoners--women who, weighed down by the burden of their sins, are led by ever-changing caprice,
౬ఇలాంటి వారు బలహీన మనస్తత్వం గల స్త్రీల ఇళ్ళలోకి చొరబడి వారిని వశం చేసుకుంటారు. ఈ స్త్రీలు అపరాధ భావనలతో కుంగిపోయి రకరకాల వాంఛలతో కొట్టుకు పోయేవారుగా ఉంటారు.
7 and are always learning something new, and yet are never able to arrive at real knowledge of the truth.
౭వాక్యాన్ని అస్తమానం నేర్చుకుంటూనే ఉన్నా వీరు సత్యం విషయమైన జ్ఞానాన్ని పొందలేరు.
8 And just as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also these false teachers withstand the truth--being, as they are, men of debased intellects, and of no real worth so far as faith is concerned.
౮యన్నే, యంబ్రే అనేవారు మోషేను ఎదిరించినట్టు వీరు కూడా చెడిపోయిన మనసు కలిగి విశ్వాసం విషయంలో భ్రష్టులై సత్యాన్ని ఎదిరిస్తారు.
9 But they will have no further success; for their folly will be as clearly manifest to all men, as that of the opponents of Moses came to be.
౯అయితే వారిద్దరి అవివేకం ఏ విధంగా బయటపడిందో ఆలాగే వీరిది కూడా అందరికీ వెల్లడి అవుతుంది కాబట్టి వీరు ఇంకా ముందుకి సాగలేరు.
10 But you have intimately known my teaching, life, aims, faith, patience, love, resignation,
౧౦నీవు మాత్రం నా బోధనూ, ప్రవర్తననూ, ఉద్దేశాన్నీ, విశ్వాసాన్నీ, సహనాన్నీ, ప్రేమనూ, ఓర్పునూ అనుకరించావు.
11 and the persecutions and sufferings which I have endured; the things which happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra. You know the persecutions I endured, and how the Lord delivered me out of them all.
౧౧అంతియొకయ, ఈకొనియ, లుస్త్ర అనే పట్టణాల్లో నేను అనుభవించిన హింసలనూ ప్రమాదాలనూ ఎరిగే నన్ను వెంబడించావు. అలాంటి హింసలు నేను సహించాను గాని, వాటన్నిటిలో నుండి ప్రభువు నన్ను తప్పించాడు.
12 And indeed every one who is determined to live a godly life as a follower of Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
౧౨క్రీస్తు యేసులో సద్భక్తితో జీవించాలని కోరేవారంతా హింస పొందుతారు.
13 But bad men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, misleading and being misled.
౧౩అయితే చెడ్డ వారూ, వంచకులూ ఇతరులను మోసపరుస్తూ తాము కూడా మోసపోతూ అంతకంతకూ చెడిపోతారు.
14 But you must cling to the things which you have learnt and have been taught to believe, knowing who your teachers were,
౧౪కానీ నీవు మాత్రం కచ్చితంగా తెలుసుకున్న వాటిని ఎవరి ద్వారా నేర్చుకున్నావో గ్రహించి వాటిలో నిలకడగా సాగిపో.
15 and that from infancy you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise to obtain salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
౧౫ఎందుకంటే క్రీస్తు యేసులో విశ్వాసం ద్వారా పాప విముక్తినిచ్చే జ్ఞానాన్ని నీకు కలిగించే శక్తిగల పరిశుద్ధ లేఖనాలు బాల్యం నుండీ నీకు తెలుసు.
16 Every Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for convincing, for correction of error, and for instruction in right doing;
౧౬దేవుని సేవకుడు సిద్ధపడి ప్రతి మంచి పనినీ జరిగించడానికి పూర్తి సన్నాహంతో ఉండాలి. అందుకోసమే ప్రతి లేఖనం దైవావేశం వలన ఉనికిలోకి వచ్చింది. అది బోధించడానికీ, ఖండించడానికీ, తప్పు దిద్దడానికీ, నీతిలో శిక్షణ ఇవ్వడానికీ తోడ్పడుతుంది.
17 so that the man of God may himself be complete and may be perfectly equipped for every good work.
