< 2 Timothy 3 >

1 But of this be assured: in the last days grievous times will set in.
Timothy, ni nunung tengleh phat hahsa hunglhung ding ahi ti nahet ding ahi.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, profane. They will be disobedient to parents, thankless, irreligious,
Ajehchu mihon amachang kingailutna le sum ngailutna jengbou ahinnei diu ahi. Amahohin kiletsahna le husetna, Pathen taitomna, nulepa thungai louna chule kipaje helou hung hitei diu ahi. Amahon thenna hinkho hi ahin nahsahlou diu ahi.
3 destitute of natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers. They will have no self-control, but will be brutal, opposed to goodness,
Amaho chun ngailutnale ngaidam jouna aneilou diu, miseiset hat hidiu chule ama kitim jouna neilou hidiu ahi. Amahohi kichat um phatna hoa ahiuve.
4 treacherous, headstrong, self-important. They will love pleasure instead of loving God,
Amahon aloi agol ho hinpedoh untin, i-ang untin, kiletsahnan dimuntin, Pathen ngaisah sanga nopsahna ahin ngaichat joh diu ahi.
5 and will keep up a make-believe of piety and yet live in defiance of its power. Turn away from people of this sort.
Amaho chu hougut hiuvintin, ahinlah amahon Pathen thaneinale athilbol theina ajahnomlou diu ahi. Hitobang hoa kon hin kikangsen,
6 Among them are included the men who make their way into private houses and carry off weak women as their prisoners--women who, weighed down by the burden of their sins, are led by ever-changing caprice,
Amaho doha lungthim in mi insunga alutjiuvin, tahsa ngaichatnan alodim chonset pohgih poa numei tikitimlou ho alhemlhauvin gal hingin amanjiuvin ahi.
7 and are always learning something new, and yet are never able to arrive at real knowledge of the truth.
Hitobang numeiho hin, thuhil thah hi ajui jingun ahinlah thutah chu ahethem pouvin ahi.
8 And just as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also these false teachers withstand the truth--being, as they are, men of debased intellects, and of no real worth so far as faith is concerned.
Jannes le Jambres tenin Mose adoudal lhon bang chun amaho hin thutah chu adoudalun ahi. Amahohin lungthim chavai aneiyun tahsan lhem achepiuvin ahi.
9 But they will have no further success; for their folly will be as clearly manifest to all men, as that of the opponents of Moses came to be.
Ahinlah amahohi hitiahi hoidoh sottaloudiu Jannes le Jambres banga chu itobanga ngol hiuvam ti nikhatleh mijousen ahin hetdoh diu ahi.
10 But you have intimately known my teaching, life, aims, faith, patience, love, resignation,
Ahinlah Timothy keiman, nangma ipi thu kahil, chule ipi iti kahin chule kahinkhoa kalunggon nahet ahinai. Hiti chun nangman katahsanna, kathohhatna, kangailutna chule kathoh lhumkeina hohi nahe chen nai.
11 and the persecutions and sufferings which I have endured; the things which happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra. You know the persecutions I endured, and how the Lord delivered me out of them all.
Ichan geiya gimbol hesohna chule hahsatna kathoh hitam ti nahenai. Chule keiman Antioch, Iconium chule Lystra khohoa bol-hesohna kathoh hohi nahei, hinla Pakaiyin hicheho jousea konin eihuhdoh tai.
12 And indeed every one who is determined to live a godly life as a follower of Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
Ahiye chule koi koi hijongleh Christa Yeshua a Pathen ngaisahna hinkho mangnom jouse chun bolhesohna athohtei ding ahi.
13 But bad men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, misleading and being misled.
Ahinlah migilouho leh milhem lhaho chu hung pungcheh cheh ding ahiuve. Amahon midangho alheplhah uva chule amaho tah lheplhah a umding ahiuve.
14 But you must cling to the things which you have learnt and have been taught to believe, knowing who your teachers were,
Ahinlah nangma nana kihilsa thilhoa chu tahsan umtah nahi ding ahi. Nangman hicheho chu adih ahin, chule nahil ho chu natahsan thei ahiuve ti nahenai.
15 and that from infancy you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise to obtain salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
Nangma naneova pat a Thuthengbu hi nana kihilsa ahin, chule amaho chun huhhingna nakisan theina dinga chihna chu napehsonu ahitai.
16 Every Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for convincing, for correction of error, and for instruction in right doing;
Pathen thubu hi aboncha Pathen Hu haikhum ahi chule hichu eiho dinga ipi chu adih chule ipi chu adihlou ham ti ihinkhouva eihet dohsah dingu ahi. Idihlou tenguleh eisudih diu chule ipi chu adih ham ti eihiluva panga ahi.
17 so that the man of God may himself be complete and may be perfectly equipped for every good work.
Hiche hi Pathen in amite chu abolsah nom thilpha tincheng bolna lama boltheina dimset inei theina diuva kigotna lampi ahi.
