2 John 1
1 The Elder to the elect lady and her children. Truly I love you all, and not I alone, but also all who know the truth,
ஹே அபி⁴ருசிதே குரியே, த்வாம்’ தவ புத்ராம்’ஸ்²ச ப்ரதி ப்ராசீநோ(அ)ஹம்’ பத்ரம்’ லிகா²மி|
2 for the sake of the truth which is continually in our hearts and will be with us for ever. (aiōn g165)
ஸத்யமதாத்³ யுஷ்மாஸு மம ப்ரேமாஸ்தி கேவலம்’ மம நஹி கிந்து ஸத்யமதஜ்ஞாநாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாமேவ| யத: ஸத்யமதம் அஸ்மாஸு திஷ்ட²த்யநந்தகாலம்’ யாவச்சாஸ்மாஸு ஸ்தா²ஸ்யதி| (aiōn g165)
3 Grace, mercy and peace will be with us from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
பிதுரீஸ்²வராத் தத்பிது: புத்ராத் ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டாச்ச ப்ராப்யோ (அ)நுக்³ரஹ: க்ரு’பா ஸா²ந்திஸ்²ச ஸத்யதாப்ரேமப்⁴யாம்’ ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ யுஷ்மாந் அதி⁴திஷ்ட²து|
4 It is an intense joy to me to have found some of your children living true Christian lives, in obedience to the command which we have received from the Father.
வயம்’ பித்ரு’தோ யாம் ஆஜ்ஞாம்’ ப்ராப்தவந்தஸ்தத³நுஸாரேண தவ கேசித்³ ஆத்மஜா: ஸத்யமதம் ஆசரந்த்யேதஸ்ய ப்ரமாணம்’ ப்ராப்யாஹம்’ ப்⁴ரு’ஸ²ம் ஆநந்தி³தவாந்|
5 And now, dear lady, I pray you--writing to you, as I do, not a new command, but the one which we have had from the very beginning--let us love one another.
ஸாம்ப்ரதஞ்ச ஹே குரியே, நவீநாம்’ காஞ்சித்³ ஆஜ்ஞாம்’ ந லிக²ந்நஹம் ஆதி³தோ லப்³தா⁴ம் ஆஜ்ஞாம்’ லிக²ந் த்வாம் இத³ம்’ விநயே யத்³ அஸ்மாபி⁴: பரஸ்பரம்’ ப்ரேம கர்த்தவ்யம்’|
6 The love of which I am speaking consists in our living in obedience to God's commands. God's command is that you should live in obedience to what you all heard from the very beginning.
அபரம்’ ப்ரேமைதேந ப்ரகாஸ²தே யத்³ வயம்’ தஸ்யாஜ்ஞா ஆசரேம| ஆதி³தோ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்யா ஸ்²ருதா ஸேயம் ஆஜ்ஞா ஸா ச யுஷ்மாபி⁴ராசரிதவ்யா|
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world--men who do not acknowledge Jesus as Christ who has come in human nature. Such a one is 'the deceiver' and 'the anti-Christ.'
யதோ ப³ஹவ: ப்ரவஞ்சகா ஜக³த் ப்ரவிஸ்²ய யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டோ நராவதாரோ பூ⁴த்வாக³த ஏதத் நாங்கீ³குர்வ்வந்தி ஸ ஏவ ப்ரவஞ்சக: க்²ரீஷ்டாரிஸ்²சாஸ்தி|
8 Keep guard over yourselves, so that you may not lose the results of your good deeds, but may receive back a full reward.
அஸ்மாகம்’ ஸ்²ரமோ யத் பண்ட³ஸ்²ரமோ ந ப⁴வேத் கிந்து ஸம்பூர்ணம்’ வேதநமஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்லப்⁴யேத தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸ்வாநதி⁴ ஸாவதா⁴நா ப⁴வத: |
9 No one has God, who instead of remaining true to the teaching of Christ, presses on in advance: but he who remains true to that teaching has both the Father and the Son.
ய: கஸ்²சித்³ விபத²கா³மீ பூ⁴த்வா க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸி²க்ஷாயாம்’ ந திஷ்ட²தி ஸ ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ந தா⁴ரயதி க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸி²ஜ்ஞாயாம்’ யஸ்திஷ்ட²தி ஸ பிதரம்’ புத்ரஞ்ச தா⁴ரயதி|
10 If any one who comes to you does not bring this teaching, do not receive him under your roof nor bid him Farewell.
ய: கஸ்²சித்³ யுஷ்மத்ஸந்நிதி⁴மாக³ச்ச²ந் ஸி²க்ஷாமேநாம்’ நாநயதி ஸ யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ஸ்வவேஸ்²மநி ந க்³ரு’ஹ்யதாம்’ தவ மங்க³லம்’ பூ⁴யாதி³தி வாக³பி தஸ்மை ந கத்²யதாம்’|
11 He who bids him Farewell is a sharer in his evil deeds.
யதஸ்தவ மங்க³லம்’ பூ⁴யாதி³தி வாசம்’ ய: கஸ்²சித் தஸ்மை கத²யதி ஸ தஸ்ய து³ஷ்கர்ம்மணாம் அம்’ஸீ² ப⁴வதி|
12 I have a great deal to say to you all, but will not write it with paper and ink. Yet I hope to come to see you and speak face to face, so that your happiness may be complete.
யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி மயா ப³ஹூநி லேகி²தவ்யாநி கிந்து பத்ரமஸீப்⁴யாம்’ தத் கர்த்தும்’ நேச்சா²மி, யதோ (அ)ஸ்மாகம் ஆநந்தோ³ யதா² ஸம்பூர்ணோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி ததா² யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபமுபஸ்தா²யாஹம்’ ஸம்முகீ²பூ⁴ய யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ஸம்பா⁴ஷிஷ்ய இதி ப்ரத்யாஸா² மமாஸ்தே|
13 The children of your elect sister send greetings to you.
தவாபி⁴ருசிதாயா ப⁴கி³ந்யா பா³லகாஸ்த்வாம்’ நமஸ்காரம்’ ஜ்ஞாபயந்தி| ஆமேந்|
