1 Timothy 1
1 Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God our Saviour and Christ Jesus our hope:
या चिट्ठी पौलुस की ओड़ तै सै, जो यीशु मसीह का प्रेरित सै, अर परमेसवर जो म्हारा उद्धारकर्ता सै, अर यीशु मसीह जो म्हारी आस सै, उसनै मेरे ताहीं प्रेरित होण खात्तर बुलाया सै।
2 To Timothy, my own true son in the faith. May grace, mercy and peace be granted to you from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
मै या चिट्ठी तीमुथियुस नै लिखूँ सूं, मसीह पै बिश्वास करण के नाते तू मेरे आत्मिक बेट्टे की तरियां सै, मै प्रार्थना करुँ सूं, के पिता परमेसवर, अर म्हारै प्रभु मसीह यीशु की ओड़ तै तन्नै अनुग्रह, दया अर शान्ति मिलदी रहवै।
3 When I was on my journey to Macedonia I begged you to remain on in Ephesus that you might remonstrate with certain persons because of their erroneous teaching
जिसा के तू तीमुथियुस जाणै सै, इफिसुस नगर म्ह कई माणस सै जो झूठ्ठी शिक्षा देवै सै, वे माणसां ताहीं लगातार झूठ्ठी कहाणियाँ अर पूर्वजां की लम्बी वंशावलियाँ नै सिखावै सै, जिसा के मन्नै मकिदुनिया जान्दे बखत तेरे तै कह्या था, के इफिसुस नगर म्ह रहकै उन ताहीं कह के इसी शिक्षा ना देवै, जिब वे इसी शिक्षा देवै सै, तो माणसां म्ह विवाद पैदा होवै सै, इसका नतिज्जा यो सै के ये शिक्षक परमेसवर का काम न्ही करते जो परमेसवर नै उन ताहीं दिया सै, यो तो सिर्फ मसीह पैए बिश्वास करण के जरिये करया जा सकै सै।
4 and the attention they bestow on mere fables and endless pedigrees, such as lead to controversy rather than to a true stewardship for God, which only exists where there is faith. And I make the same request now.
5 But the end sought to be secured by exhortation is the love which springs from a pure heart, a clear conscience and a sincere faith.
योए म्हारे हुकम का मकसद सै, के थम सच्चे मन, शुद्ध अन्तरात्मा अर सच्चे बिश्वास तै एक-दुसरे कै गेल्या बिना कपट के प्यार करो।
6 From these some have drifted away, and have wandered into empty words.
झूठ्ठे शिक्षकां नै इन सारी चिज्जां ताहीं छोड़ दिया सै, अर सिर्फ बेकार की चिज्जां पै बातचीत करै सै।
7 They are ambitious to be teachers of the Law, although they do not understand either their own words or what the things are about which they make such confident assertions.
अर वकील तो बणणा चाहवैं सै, पर जो बात कहवै अर जिन ताहीं मजबूती तै बोल्लै सै, उन ताहीं समझदे भी कोनी।
8 Now we know that the Law is good, if a man uses it in the way it should be used,
हम जाणा सां के मूसा के नियम-कायदा नै जै सही तरिक्कें तै सिखावै तो वो भला सै।
9 and remembers that a law is not enacted to control a righteous man, but for the lawless and rebellious, the irreligious and sinful, the godless and profane--for those who strike their fathers or their mothers, for murderers,
हम यो जाणा सां, के मूसा नबी के नियम-कायदे धर्मी माणस कै खात्तर कोनी, पर उन माणसां खात्तर सै जो परमेसवर के नियम-कायदा नै अणदेखा करै सै, अर उन ताहीं मानते कोनी, अर उन माणसां खात्तर जो परमेसवर की आराधना कोनी करते, अर जो सारी हाण पाप करते रहवै सै, जो माणस दुष्ट सै, अर परमेसवर का आदर कोनी करते, अर जो अपणे माँ-बाप नै, अर दुसरयां नै मार देवै सै।
10 fornicators, sodomites, slave-dealers, liars and false witnesses; and for whatever else is opposed to wholesome teaching
जारी करणीये, माणसां गैल कुकर्म करणीये, माणस नै बेचण आळे, झूठ बोल्लण आळे, झूठ्ठी कसम खाण आळे, अर इनकै अलावा खरे उपदेश के सारे बिरोधियाँ कै खात्तर बणाई गई सै।
11 and is not in accordance with the Good News of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
या सही शिक्षा उस सुसमाचार पै आधारित सै, जो के धन्य परमेसवर की महिमा के बारें म्ह सै, जिसकी मेरै ताहीं प्रचार करण की जिम्मेदारी दी गई सै।
12 I am thankful to Him who made me strong--even Christ Jesus our Lord--because He has judged me to be faithful and has put me into His service,
मै अपणे प्रभु मसीह यीशु का जिसनै मेरै ताहीं सामर्थ दी सै, धन्यवाद करुँ सूं, के उसनै मेरै ताहीं बिश्वास जोग्गा समझकै अपणी सेवा कै खात्तर चुण्या।
13 though I was previously a blasphemer and a persecutor and had been insolent in outrage. Yet mercy was shown me, because I had acted ignorantly, not having as yet believed;
बिश्वास करण तै पैहले, मै बुराई करण आळा, सताण आळा, अर अन्धेर करण आळा था, तोभी मेरै पै दया होई, क्यूँके यीशु मसीह पै बिश्वास करण तै पैहले मन्नै अबिश्वास अर बिना सोच्चे-समझे ये काम करे थे।
14 and the grace of our Lord came to me in overflowing fulness, conferring faith on me and the love which is in Christ Jesus.
अर परमेसवर का अनुग्रह मेरे पै भोत-ए घणा होया, उसनै मेरे ताहीं बिश्वास अर प्यार दिया, क्यूँके मै मसीह यीशु म्ह सूं।
15 Faithful is the saying, and deserving of universal acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; among whom I stand foremost.
या बात साच्ची अर हरेक तरियां तै मानण जोग्गी सै, के मसीह यीशु पापियाँ का उद्धार करण खात्तर दुनिया म्ह आया, जिन म्ह सारया तै बड्ड़ा पापी मै सूं।
16 But mercy was shown me in order that in me as the foremost of sinners Christ Jesus might display the fulness of His long-suffering patience as an example to encourage those who would afterwards be resting their faith on Him with a view to the Life of the Ages. (aiōnios g166)
परमेसवर नै अपणी दया मेरे पै दिखाई, उसनै यो इस कारण करया ताके मुझ माणस के जरिये, जिसनै दुसरे माणसां तै ज्यादा बुरे काम करे सै, मसीह यीशु दिखा सकै सै, के वो मेरे खात्तर कितना धीरज राक्खै सै, या उन माणसां खात्तर एक मिसाल सै जो बाद म्ह उसपै बिश्वास करैगें, अर वे अनन्त जीवन पावैंगें। (aiōnios g166)
17 Now to the immortal and invisible King of the Ages, who alone is God, be honour and glory to the Ages of the Ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
इब राजा जो सदा खात्तर जिन्दा सै, उस अविनाशी, अनदेक्खे, एकमात्र परमेसवर का आदर अर उसकी महिमा युगानुयुग होंदी रहवै। आमीन। (aiōn g165)
18 This is the charge which I entrust to you, my son Timothy, in accordance with the inspired instructions concerning you which were given me long ago, that being equipped with them as your armour you may be continually fighting the good fight,
हे बेट्टे तीमुथियुस, मै यो हुकम सौंपू सूं, जो उन भविष्यवाणीयाँ कै मुताबिक सै, जो पैहल्या तेरे बारै म्ह करी गई थी, उनकै मुताबिक एक सिपाही की तरियां आच्छी लड़ाई नै लड़ता रह।
19 holding fast to faith and a clear conscience, which some have cast aside and have made shipwreck of their faith.
थम मसीह पै लगातार बिश्वास करते रहो, ताके थारी अन्तरात्मा साफ रहवै, कई माणसां नै अपणी साफ अन्तरात्मा ताहीं त्याग दिया सै, अर उनकी मसीह पै बिश्वास करण की काबलियत भी खतम होगी सै, अर इब वे बिश्वास भी कोनी करते।
20 Among these are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have delivered to Satan so that they may be taught not to blaspheme.
उन म्ह हुमिनयुस अर सिकन्दर भी शामिल सै, जिन ताहीं मन्नै शैतान की बुरी शक्तियाँ के हाथ सौंप दिया सै, ताके वे परमेसवर की बुराई करणा छोड़ दे।
