< 1 Peter 1 >

1 Peter, an Apostle of Jesus Christ: To God's own people scattered over the earth, who are living as foreigners in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Roman Asia, and Bithynia,
Mini Pieli, Jesu kilisiti tondo, n diani li tili yinba U Tienu n gandi yaaba n yayadi ki ye ku cangu ponta, Galati, kapadosi, Asi leni bitini diema kuli nni.
2 chosen in accordance with the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, with a view to their obedience and to their being sprinkled with the blood of Jesus Christ. May more and more grace and peace be granted to you.
U Tienu yua n tie Baa den gandi yi nani wan den tuodi ki bani ki go jagi maama, ki teni ke O Fuoma gagidi yi ke yin tuo ki yaa tiendi Jesu kilisiti n yedi yaala, o soama mo n mii ki hanbi yi. U Tienu hanbili leni O yanduanma n ya pugidi pugidi yi po.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in His great mercy has begotten us anew to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
U Tienu ti Diedo Jesu kilisiti Baa n baa ti kpiagidi wani yua, o nihigbadi-cianma po, O mali ti, yaa suginma n fo yaa madi, kelima Jesu kilisiti fiima bi tinkpiba siiga yaapo.
4 to an inheritance imperishable, undefiled and unfading, which has been reserved in Heaven for you,
5 whom God in His power is guarding through faith for a salvation that even now stands ready for unveiling at the End of the Age.
Yinba U Tienu paciamu n kubi yaaba li dandanli nni yaa faabima n buoga ki ba doagidi mi juodima yogunu po.
6 Rejoice triumphantly in the prospect of this, even if now, for a short time, you are compelled to sorrow amid various trials.
Kelima lani n tie yi pamanli, baa ke moala ne yi ye leni ti yanyangidi, kelima yaa biigi buoli n kpendi yipo uyogunu waamu yaapo.
7 The sorrow comes in order that the testing of your faith--being more precious than that of gold, which perishes and yet is proved by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honour at the re-appearing of Jesus Christ.
8 Him you love, though your eyes have never looked on Him. In Him, though at present you cannot see Him, you nevertheless trust, and triumph with a joy which is unspeakable and is crowned with glory,
9 while you are securing as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.
Kelima yi baa baa yi naani faabima, lani n tie yi dandanli panpaani.
10 There were Prophets who earnestly inquired about that salvation, and closely searched into it--even those who spoke beforehand of the grace which was to come to you.
Bi sawalipuaba yaaba n den pua sawali yaa hanbili n den tuodi ki bili yipo yaapo moko den lingi ki bua ki bandi mi faabima yeni maama fuuli.
11 They were eager to know the time which the Spirit of Christ within them kept indicating, or the characteristics of that time, when they solemnly made known beforehand the sufferings that were to come upon Christ and the glories which would follow.
12 To them it was revealed that they were serving not themselves but you, when they foretold the very things which have now been openly declared to you by those who, having been taught by the Holy Spirit which had been sent from Heaven, brought you the Good News. Angels long to stoop and look into these things.
13 Therefore gird up your minds and fix your hopes calmly and unfalteringly upon the boon that is soon to be yours, at the re-appearing of Jesus Christ.
14 And, since you delight in obedience, do not shape your lives by the cravings which used to dominate you in the time of your ignorance,
Tua mani bi tuokaana, ki da go pia li bonbuakabiadila nani yaa yogunu ke yi den ye mi kaabanma nni yeni.
15 but--in imitation of the holy One who has called you--you also must be holy in all your habits of life.
Kelima yua n yini yi gagidi ki hani, yi moko n gagidi ki yaa hani yeni yi tagu kuli nni, nani lan diani maama:
16 Because it stands written, "You are to be holy, because I am holy."
Gagidi mani ki yaa hani kelima n gagidi ki hani.
17 And if you address as your Father Him who judges impartially in accordance with each man's actions, then spend in fear the time of your stay here on earth,
Li yaa tie ke yi miadi U Tienu ki go yini o, yi Baa, wani yua n baa jia nilo kuli ti buudi nani otuona n tie maama, kaa tiendi gagidima bi niba leni bi yaba siiga, lanwani yin yaa ye mani leni li fangili O nintuali yin ye handuna nni ki tie sancenba yaa yogunu bianu kuli.
18 knowing, as you do, that it was not with a ransom of perishable wealth, such as silver or gold, that you were set free from your frivolous habits of life which had been handed down to you from your forefathers,
Bandi mani ke waa den daa yi leni yaala n baa bodi nani yi ligi bi wula ka, leni yin den baa yaa yema yi baanba kani ke mi tie fanma fanma yeni.
19 but with the precious blood of Christ--as of an unblemished and spotless lamb.
Ama, o den daa yi leni Kilisiti soama yaama n pia mayuli hali boncianla nani ban padi yaa pebiga n ki pia poadoba kuli yaama maama yeni.
20 He was pre-destined indeed to this work, even before the creation of the world, but has been plainly manifested in these last days for the sake of you who, through Him,
21 are faithful to God, who raised Him from among the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are resting upon God.
Li tie kelima wani Kilisiti yaapo yo ke yi daani U Tienu yua n den fiini o bi tinkpiba siiga ki puni o ti kpiagidi, yin yaa pia li dandanli leni mi suginma U Tienu po.
22 Now that, through your obedience to the truth, you have purified your souls for cherishing sincere brotherly love, you must love another heartily and fervently.
Moala yi hanbi yi yula leni yin hua i moamoani ke yin fidi ki yaa pia mi buamoanma yi kpiiba po. Lanwani yin yaa bua mani yi yaba hali boncianla leni yi pala kuli.
23 For you have been begotten again by God's ever-living and enduring word from a germ not of perishable, but of imperishable life. (aiōn g165)
Lani yaapo yi pia li miapanli. Yii piali ke li hua leni yaa bonbuoli nbaa bedi ka. Ama leni yaala n kan bedi. Lani n tie U Tienu maama yaama nfo ki baa ye hali yaa yogunu kuli po. (aiōn g165)
24 "All mankind resemble the herbage, and all their beauty is like its flowers. The herbage dries up, and its flowers drop off;
Kelima gbannandi kuli tie nani ti muadi yene, ti kpiagidi mo kuli tie nani mi moapuuma yeni, ti muadi yen kuodi mi puuma mo n suodi.
25 But the word of the Lord remains for ever." And that means the Message which has been proclaimed among you in the Good News. (aiōn g165)
Ama o Diedo maama baa ye hali yaa yogunu kuli. Laa maama n tie ban den wangi yi yaa laa baalihamo. (aiōn g165)
