< 1 Peter 1 >

1 Peter, an Apostle of Jesus Christ: To God's own people scattered over the earth, who are living as foreigners in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Roman Asia, and Bithynia,
Iyesus Krstossh wosheets wottso P'et'rosoke, ib wotat P'ant'osn, Gelatiyon, K'ep'edok'iyon, Isiyon, Bitiniyon bad'aat beyirwotssh,
2 chosen in accordance with the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, with a view to their obedience and to their being sprinkled with the blood of Jesus Christ. May more and more grace and peace be granted to you.
Ik'o niho bali b́dantsok'on marat'etswotssh, Iyesus Krstossh alewosh, b́ s'atson fakeyar s'ayonosh, S'ayin shayiron s'ayintseyat galertee, itsh s'aatonat jeenon ankatowe.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in His great mercy has begotten us anew to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Iyesus Krstos k'irotse b́ tuwi jangon jamaaw beyosh wititwo jangiyetso noosh imtso, b́ mhreti ayon handr shuwewo noosh imtso, no doonz Iyesus Krstos nihi Ik'o údewe,
4 to an inheritance imperishable, undefiled and unfading, which has been reserved in Heaven for you,
Bíwere t'afrawo, aawasherawonat gawereraw rstiyo darotse itsh k'anire.
5 whom God in His power is guarding through faith for a salvation that even now stands ready for unveiling at the End of the Age.
Itwere s'uwaatsi aawots be'et kasho imneti weeron Ik' angon koteertee.
6 Rejoice triumphantly in the prospect of this, even if now, for a short time, you are compelled to sorrow amid various trials.
Dab ay naari fadewwots múk' aawwotssh iti boshiyaniyo ooreratse wotiyaloru amanat it kashtsosh gene'ore.
7 The sorrow comes in order that the testing of your faith--being more precious than that of gold, which perishes and yet is proved by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honour at the re-appearing of Jesus Christ.
Fadeyan itats b́bodir it imnetiyo arik b́ wotok'o kitsoshe, t'afit awntsonwor dab tawone b́ fadefoni, awntsoniyere bogo k'awnts detsts it imnetiyonmo hank'o fadeyo bísh geyife, it imneti arik wottsanwere Iyesus Krstos b́ be'ewor údon, mangonat iti k'ees'iyeyo itsh daatsitwe.
8 Him you love, though your eyes have never looked on Him. In Him, though at present you cannot see Him, you nevertheless trust, and triumph with a joy which is unspeakable and is crowned with glory,
Iyesus Krstosi be'atste wotiyaloru bín shunfte, dab andoor bín bek'o it k'azaloru bín amanirute, hank'oyi err falr keewerawnat mangts gene'on geneeúwirutee.
9 while you are securing as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.
It amantsatse tuutso it kotirwo it kashu woro daatsitwte.
10 There were Prophets who earnestly inquired about that salvation, and closely searched into it--even those who spoke beforehand of the grace which was to come to you.
Kashi jangansh itsh wotit s'aato bek'on keewts nebiyatiyots aydek' geeyat p'ec'ar s'iilo woshrne.
11 They were eager to know the time which the Spirit of Christ within them kept indicating, or the characteristics of that time, when they solemnly made known beforehand the sufferings that were to come upon Christ and the glories which would follow.
Boyitse beyiru Krstos shayiro Mesihiyo ats bodet gond bek'o, gond beek'oniyere okoon b́ daatsit mango shini kitsre b́ teshi, boowere jaman awri gizeyonat aawk'on b́ wotitwok'o p'ec'at s'ilrne bo teshi,
12 To them it was revealed that they were serving not themselves but you, when they foretold the very things which have now been openly declared to you by those who, having been taught by the Holy Spirit which had been sent from Heaven, brought you the Good News. Angels long to stoop and look into these things.
Nebiyiyanots bofinir itsha bako botokosh b́ woterawok'o boosh be'ere b́ teshi, bo finwere darotse wosheets S'ayin shayiri weeron dooshishiyo itsh keewts ashuwots itsh bokeewtso bek'shoone, keewanowere melakiwotswor dab bek'osh tewnroone bo teshi.
13 Therefore gird up your minds and fix your hopes calmly and unfalteringly upon the boon that is soon to be yours, at the re-appearing of Jesus Christ.
Mansh eshe it nibo káátsde'er finosh k'ande'ere, Iyesus Krstos b́ be'et aawots it daatsit s'aatosh s'een wotts jángiyo deshere.
14 And, since you delight in obedience, do not shape your lives by the cravings which used to dominate you in the time of your ignorance,
Aleyiru nanaúwotsi wotarr bali dáron it detsts gond tewni jafrats sha'ak'ayere,
15 but--in imitation of the holy One who has called you--you also must be holy in all your habits of life.
ernmó itn s'eegts Ik'o S'ayin b́ wottsok'o itwere it be jamon S'ayin wotoore,
16 Because it stands written, "You are to be holy, because I am holy."
«Taa S'ayin t wottsok'o itwere S'ayin wotoore» ett guut'ere.
17 And if you address as your Father Him who judges impartially in accordance with each man's actions, then spend in fear the time of your stay here on earth,
Konshoru b́ boga bogshrawo ik ikosh b́ finok'o angishitu Ik'o «Nonihi» etaat it s'eegirwo b́ wottsotse datsanatse ib wotat itbeyirwotse bín shatoon beewere,
18 knowing, as you do, that it was not with a ransom of perishable wealth, such as silver or gold, that you were set free from your frivolous habits of life which had been handed down to you from your forefathers,
It it nihwotsatse it naatts woteraw beyatse itn kéwe t'afit ambaron wee awntson b́woterawok'o danfte.
19 but with the precious blood of Christ--as of an unblemished and spotless lamb.
Itn aani kéwédek'e eeg eeg kim deshaw wee ik shap deshaw mereer wottso mangts Krstos s'atsone.
20 He was pre-destined indeed to this work, even before the creation of the world, but has been plainly manifested in these last days for the sake of you who, through Him,
Bíwere b́ dane datsan b́ azeraftsere shinon b́ wotor ando s'uwaatsi dúranatsere itsh be'ere.
21 are faithful to God, who raised Him from among the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are resting upon God.

22 Now that, through your obedience to the truth, you have purified your souls for cherishing sincere brotherly love, you must love another heartily and fervently.

23 For you have been begotten again by God's ever-living and enduring word from a germ not of perishable, but of imperishable life. (aiōn g165)

24 "All mankind resemble the herbage, and all their beauty is like its flowers. The herbage dries up, and its flowers drop off;
Mas'aafo b́ etirwok'on; «Meets tahats jamo totsok'owiye, B́ mang jamonwere boditsi fundok'owiye, Totsonwere shuuk'etwe, fundonwere ooshetwe,
25 But the word of the Lord remains for ever." And that means the Message which has been proclaimed among you in the Good News. (aiōn g165)
Doonzo aap'tsonmó Dúre dúrosh kúp'ar beetwe.» Itsh nabets dooshishiy keewonwere haniye. (aiōn g165)
