1 Corinthians 3
1 And as for myself, brethren, I found it impossible to speak to you as spiritual men. It had to be as to worldlings--mere babes in Christ.
૧ભાઈઓ, જેમ આત્મિક મનુષ્યોની સાથે વાત કરતો હોઉં તેવી રીતે તમારી સાથે હું વાત કરી શક્યો નહિ, પણ સાંસારિકોની સાથે, એટલે ખ્રિસ્તમાં બાળકોની સાથે વાત કરતો હોઉં તેવી રીતે મેં તમારી સાથે વાત કરી.
2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food, since for this you were not yet strong enough. And even now you are not strong enough:
૨મેં તમને દૂધથી પોષ્યા છે, ભારે ખોરાકથી નહિ; કેમ કે તમે ભારે ખોરાક ખાવાને સમર્થ ન હતા, અને હમણાં પણ સમર્થ નથી.
3 you are still unspiritual. For so long as jealousy and strife continue among you, can it be denied that you are unspiritual and are living and acting like mere men of the world?
૩કેમ કે તમે હજી સાંસારિક છો. કેમ કે તમારામાં અદેખાઈ તથા ઝઘડા છે, માટે શું તમે સાંસારિક નથી, અને સાંસારિક માણસોની માફક વર્તતા નથી?
4 For when some one says, "I belong to Paul," and another says, "I belong to Apollos," is not this the way men of the world speak?
૪કેમ કે જયારે તમારામાંનો એક કહે કે, ‘હું પાઉલનો છું,’ અને બીજો કહે છે કે ‘હું આપોલસનો છું,’ ત્યારે તમે સાંસારિક માણસોની જેમ વર્તન કરતા નથી?
5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are just God's servants, through whose efforts, and as the Lord granted power to each, you accepted the faith.
૫તો આપોલસ કોણ છે? અને પાઉલ કોણ છે? જેમ પ્રભુએ તેઓ દરેકને સેવાકાર્ય આપ્યું છે તે પ્રમાણે તેઓ જીવંત ઈશ્વરના સેવકો જ છે, જેઓનાં દ્વારા તમે વિશ્વાસ કર્યો.
6 I planted and Apollos watered; but it was God who was, all the time, giving the increase.
૬મેં તો માત્ર રોપ્યું, અને આપોલસે પાણી પાયું, પણ ઈશ્વરે તેને ઉગાવ્યું અને વૃદ્ધિ આપી.
7 So that neither the planter nor the waterer is of any importance. God who gives the increase is all in all.
૭માટે સિંચનાર પણ કોઈ નથી; અને રોપનાર કોઈ નથી; વૃદ્ધિ આપનાર ઈશ્વર તે જ સર્વસ્વ છે.
8 Now in aim and purpose the planter and the waterer are one; and yet each will receive his own special reward, answering to his own special work.
૮રોપનાર તથા સિંચનાર એક છે; પણ દરેકને તેની મહેનત પ્રમાણે બદલો મળશે.
9 Apollos and I are simply fellow workers for and with God, and you are God's field-- God's building.
૯કેમ કે અમે ઈશ્વર ના સેવકો તરીકે સાથે કામ કરનારા છીએ; તમે ઈશ્વરની ખેતી, ઈશ્વરની ઇમારત છો.
10 In discharge of the task which God graciously entrusted to me, I--like a competent master-builder--have laid a foundation, and others are building upon it. But let every one be careful how and what he builds.
૧૦ઈશ્વરની મારા પર થયેલી કૃપા પ્રમાણે કુશળ સ્થાપિત તરીકે મેં પાયો નાખ્યો છે; અને તેના પર કોઈ બીજો બાંધે છે. પણ પોતે તેના પર કેવી રીતે બાંધે છે તે વિષે દરેકે સાવધ રહેવું.
11 For no one can lay any other foundation in addition to that which is already laid, namely Jesus Christ.
૧૧કેમ કે જે નંખાયેલો પાયો છે તે તો ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત છે. તેમના સિવાય બીજો પાયો કોઈ નાખી શકતું નથી.
12 And whether the building which any one is erecting on that foundation be of gold or silver or costly stones, of timber or hay or straw--
૧૨પણ જો આ પાયા પર બાંધનાર કોઈ સોનું, ચાંદી, અમૂલ્ય પથ્થર, લાકડું કે, પરાળનો ઉપયોગ કરે,
13 the true character of each individual's work will become manifest. For the day of Christ will disclose it, because that day is soon to come upon us clothed in fire, and as for the quality of every one's work-- the fire is the thing which will test it.
૧૩તો દરેકનું કામ કેવું છે તે ખુલ્લું કરવામાં આવશે; કેમ કે તે દિવસ તેને ઉઘાડું પાડશે, અગ્નિથી તે પ્રગટ કરવામાં આવશે; અને દરેકનું કામ કેવું છે તે અગ્નિ જ પારખશે.
14 If any one's work--the building which he has erected--stands the test, he will be rewarded.
૧૪જે કોઈએ તે પાયા પર બાંધકામ કર્યું હશે, તે જો ટકી રહેશે તો તે બદલો પામશે.
15 If any one's work is burnt up, he will suffer the loss of it; yet he will himself be rescued, but only, as it were, by passing through the fire.
૧૫જો કોઈનું કામ બળી જશે, તો તેને નુકસાન થશે; તોપણ તે જાતે જાણે કે અગ્નિમાંથી બચેલા જેવો થશે.
16 Do you not know that you are God's Sanctuary, and that the Spirit of God has His home within you?
૧૬તમે ઈશ્વરનું ભક્તિસ્થાન છો, અને તમારામાં ઈશ્વરનો પવિત્ર આત્મા વાસ કરે છે, એ શું તમે નથી જાણતા?
17 If any one is marring the Sanctuary of God, him will God mar; for the Sanctuary of God is holy, which you all are.
૧૭જો કોઈ ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનનો નાશ કરે, તો ઈશ્વર તેનો નાશ કરશે; કેમ કે ઈશ્વરનું આ ભક્તિસ્થાન તે તો પવિત્ર છે, અને તે ભક્તિસ્થાન તમે છો.
18 Let no one deceive himself. If any man imagines that he is wise, compared with the rest of you, with the wisdom of the present age, let him become "foolish" so that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)
૧૮કોઈ પોતે પોતાને છેતરે નહિ. જો આ જમાનામાં તમારામાંનો કોઈ પોતાને જ્ઞાની માનતો હોય, તો જ્ઞાની થવા માટે તેણે મૂર્ખ થવું જરૂરી છે. (aiōn g165)
19 This world's wisdom is "foolishness" in God's sight; for it is written, "He snares the wise with their own cunning."
૧૯કેમ કે આ જગતનું જ્ઞાન ઈશ્વરની આગળ મૂર્ખતારૂપ છે; કેમ કે લખેલું છે કે, પ્રભુ કહેવાતા જ્ઞાનીઓને તેઓની જ ચતુરાઈમાં પકડી પાડે છે.
20 And again, "The Lord takes knowledge of the reasonings of the wise--how useless they are."
૨૦અને વળી, પ્રભુ જાણે છે કે જ્ઞાનીઓના વિચાર વ્યર્થ છે.
21 Therefore let no one boast about his human teachers.
૨૧તો કોઈ પણ માણસે માણસો વિષે અભિમાન ન કરવું, કેમ કે ઈશ્વરે તમને બધું આપેલું છે.
22 For everything belongs to you--be it Paul or Apollos or Peter, the world or life or death, things present or future--everything belongs to you;
૨૨પાઉલ, આપોલસ, કેફા, સૃષ્ટિ, જીવન, મરણ, વર્તમાનની કે ભવિષ્યની બાબતો; એ બધું તમારું જ છે;
23 and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
૨૩તમે ખ્રિસ્તનાં છો; અને ખ્રિસ્ત ઈશ્વરના છે.
