1 Corinthians 15
1 But let me recall to you, brethren, the Good News which I brought you, which you accepted, and on which you are standing,
Ich erinnere euch, Brüder, an das Evangelium, das ich euch verkündet habe, und das ihr auch angenommen habt, und bei dem ihr beharret.
2 through which also you are obtaining salvation, if you bear in mind the words in which I proclaimed it--unless indeed your faith has been unreal from the very first.
Durch welches ihr auch selig werdet.
3 For I repeated to you the all-important fact which also I had been taught, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures;
Denn ich habe euch als Hauptlehre vorgetragen, was auch ich als solche empfangen habe, daß Christus für unsere Sünden gestorben ist, nach der Schrift.
4 that He was buried; that He rose to life again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
Und daß Er begraben und am dritten Tage auferweckt worden ist, nach der Schrift.
5 and was seen by Peter, and then by the Twelve.
Und daß Er von Kephas, danach von den Zwölfen gesehen worden ist.
6 Afterwards He was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once, most of whom are still alive, although some of them have now fallen asleep.
Danach ward Er von mehr denn fünfhundert Brüdern zumal gesehen, von denen die meisten noch leben, etliche aber entschlafen sind.
7 Afterwards He was seen by James, and then by all the Apostles.
Danach ward Er gesehen von Jakobus, sodann von allen Aposteln.
8 And last of all, as to one of untimely birth, He appeared to me also.
Zuletzt unter allen ist Er auch von mir, als einer unzeitigen Geburt, gesehen worden.
9 For I am the least of the Apostles, and am not fit to be called an Apostle--because I persecuted the Church of God.
Denn ich bin der geringste unter den Aposteln, als der ich nicht wert bin, ein Apostel zu heißen, darum, daß ich die Gemeinde Gottes verfolgt hatte.
10 But what I am I am by the grace of God, and His grace bestowed upon me did not prove ineffectual. But I labored more strenuously than all the rest--yet it was not I, but God's grace working with me.
Aber durch die Gnade Gottes bin ich, was ich bin, und Seine Gnade ist an mir nicht vergeblich gewesen, denn ich habe viel mehr als sie alle gearbeitet; nicht aber ich, sondern die Gnade Gottes, die mit mir ist.
11 But whether it is I or they, this is the way we preach and the way that you came to believe.
Es sei nun ich oder jene: also predigen wir, und also habt ihr geglaubt.
12 But if Christ is preached as having risen from the dead, how is it that some of you say that there is no such thing as a resurrection of the dead?
So aber Christus gepredigt wird, daß Er von den Toten auferstanden ist, wie sagen denn etliche unter euch, es gebe keine Auferstehung der Toten?
13 If there is no such thing as a resurrection of the dead, then Christ Himself has not risen to life.
Wenn die Auferstehung der Toten nichts ist, so ist auch Christus nicht auferstanden.
14 And if Christ has not risen, it follows that what we preach is a delusion, and that your faith also is a delusion.
Ist aber Christus nicht auferstanden, so ist unsere Predigt eitel und auch euer Glaube eitel.
15 Nay more, we are actually being discovered to be bearing false witness about God, because we have testified that God raised Christ to life, whom He did not raise, if in reality none of the dead are raised.
Auch würden wir als falsche Zeugen Gottes erfunden, die wir wider Gott gezeugt hätten, Er habe Christus auferweckt, Den Er nicht auferweckt hätte, sofern die Toten ja nicht auferweckt werden.
16 For if none of the dead are raised to life, then Christ has not risen;
Denn so die Toten nicht auferweckt werden, so ist auch Christus nicht auferweckt worden.
17 and if Christ has not risen, your faith is a vain thing--you are still in your sins.
Ist aber Christus nicht auferweckt worden, so ist euer Glaube eitel, und ihr seid noch in euren Sünden.
18 It follows also that those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
So sind denn auch die, so in Christus entschlafen sind, verloren.
19 If in this present life we have a hope resting on Christ, and nothing more, we are more to be pitied than all the rest of the world.
Wenn wir nur für dieses Leben unsere Hoffnung auf Christus gesetzt haben, so sind wir elender, als alle Menschen.
20 But, in reality, Christ has risen from among the dead, being the first to do so of those who are asleep.
Nun ist aber Christus von den Toten auferstanden, als Erstling der Entschlafenen;
21 For seeing that death came through man, through man comes also the resurrection of the dead.
Weil ja durch einen Menschen der Tod und durch einen Menschen die Auferstehung der Toten kommt.
22 For just as through Adam all die, so also through Christ all will be made alive again.
Denn gleich wie sie in Adam alle sterben, so werden sie in Christus alle lebendig gemacht werden.
23 But this will happen to each in the right order--Christ having been the first to rise, and afterwards Christ's people rising at His return.
Jeder aber in seiner Ordnung; als Erstling Christus, danach, die Christus angehören bei Seiner Wiederkunft.
24 Later on, comes the End, when He is to surrender the Kingship to God, the Father, when He shall have overthrown all other government and all other authority and power.
Alsdann das Ende, wenn Er das Reich Gott und dem Vater übergibt, wenn Er alle Herrschaft, Macht und Gewalt zunichte gemacht hat.
25 For He must continue King until He shall have put all His enemies under His feet.
Denn Er muß herrschen, bis daß Er alle Feinde unter Seine Füße gelegt hat.
26 The last enemy that is to be overthrown is Death;
Als letzter Feind wird der Tod vernichtet.
27 for He will have put all things in subjection under His feet. And when He shall have declared that "All things are in subjection," it will be with the manifest exception of Him who has reduced them all to subjection to Him.
Denn Er hat alles unter Seine Füße gelegt; wenn Er aber sagt, daß Er Sich alles unterworfen hat, so ist offenbar, daß ausgenommen ist der, so Ihm alles unterworfen hat.
28 But when the whole universe has been made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also become subject to Him who has made the universe subject to Him, in order that GOD may be all in all.
Wenn Ihm aber alles untertan ist, dann unterwirft sich der Sohn selbst Ihm, der Ihm alles unterworfen hat, auf daß Gott sei alles in allen.
29 Otherwise what will become of those who got themselves baptized for the dead? If the dead do not rise at all, why are these baptized for them?
Was machen sonst die, so sich taufen lassen für die Toten, wenn die Toten gar nicht auferstehen, warum lassen sie sich doch taufen für sie?
30 Why also do we Apostles expose ourselves to danger every hour?
Und was setzen auch wir uns stündlich Gefahren aus?
31 I protest, brethren, as surely as I glory over you--which I may justly do in Christ Jesus our Lord--that I die day by day.
Bei dem Ruhme, den ich wegen euer in unserem Herrn Jesus Christus habe, ich sterbe täglich.
32 If from merely human motives I have fought with wild beasts in Ephesus, what profit is it to me? If the dead do not rise, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we are to die.
Wenn ich nach Menschenweise in Ephesus mit Tieren gekämpft habe, was habe ich davon, so die Toten nicht auferstehen? Lasset uns essen und trinken, denn morgen sind wir tot.
33 Do not deceive yourselves: "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
Lasset euch nicht irreführen; schlechte Gesellschaft verdirbt gute Sitten.
34 Wake from this drunken fit; live righteous lives, and cease to sin; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak thus in order to move you to shame.
Seid recht nüchtern und sündigt nicht, denn gewisse Leute haben keine Kenntnis Gottes, ich sage euch das zur Beschämung.
35 But some one will say, "How can the dead rise? And with what kind of body do they come back?"
Es sagt vielleicht jemand: Wie können Tote auferstehen? und mit welcherlei Leib kommen sie?
36 Foolish man! the seed you yourself sow has no life given to it unless it first dies;
Du Tor! was du säst, wird nicht lebendig, es sterbe denn.
37 and as for what you sow, it is not the plant which is to be that you are sowing, but a bare grain, of wheat (it may be) or of something else, and God gives it a body as He has seen fit,
Und was du säst - nicht den Leib, der werden wird, säst du, sondern ein nacktes Korn, etwa Weizen oder sonst eines.
38 and to each kind of seed a body of its own.
Gott aber gibt ihm einen Leib, wie er gewollt hat, einem jeglichen Samen seinen eigenen Leib.
39 All flesh is not the same: there is human flesh, and flesh of cattle, of birds, and of fishes.
Nicht alles Fleisch ist einerlei Fleisch, ein anderes ist das der Menschen, ein anderes das des Viehs, ein anderes der Fische, ein anderes der Vögel.
40 There are bodies which are celestial and there are bodies which are earthly, but the glory of the celestial ones is one thing, and that of the earthly ones is another.
Und es gibt himmlische Körper und es gibt irdische Körper; aber eine andere Herrlichkeit ist die der himmlischen, eine andere die der irdischen.
41 There is one glory of the sun, another of the moon, and another of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.
Eine andere Herrlichkeit ist die der Sonne und eine andere Herrlichkeit die des Mondes und eine andere Herrlichkeit die der Sterne, denn ein Stern übertrifft den anderen an Herrlichkeit.
42 It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in a state of decay, it is raised free from decay;
So ist es auch mit der Auferstehung der Toten. Es wird gesät in Verwesung und wird auferweckt in Unverweslichkeit.
43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
Es wird gesät in Unehre, und wird auferweckt in Herrlichkeit. Es wird gesät in Schwachheit und auferweckt in Kraft.
44 an animal body is sown, a spiritual body is raised. As surely as there is an animal body, so there is also a spiritual body.
Es wird gesät ein natürlicher Leib und wird auferstehen ein geistiger Leib. Es gibt einen natürlichen Leib, und gibt einen geistigen Leib.
45 In the same way also it is written, "The first man Adam became a living animal"; the last Adam is a life-giving Spirit.
So steht auch geschrieben: Es ward der erste Mensch Adam zu einer lebendigen Seele. Der letzte Adam zu einem lebendig machenden Geist.
46 Nevertheless, it is not what is spiritual that came first, but what is animal; what is spiritual came afterwards.
Aber der geistige ist nicht der erste, sondern der natürliche, danach der geistige.
47 The first man is a man of earth, earthy; the second man is from Heaven.
Der erste Mensch ist von der Erde, irdisch, der andere Mensch ist der Herr aus dem Himmel.
48 What the earthy one is, that also are those who are earthy; and what the heavenly One is, that also are those who are heavenly.
Welcherlei der Irdische ist, solcherlei sind auch die Irdischen, und welcherlei der Himmlische ist, also sind auch die Himmlischen.
49 And as we have borne a resemblance to the earthy one, let us see to it that we also bear a resemblance to the heavenly One.
Und wie wir das Bild des Irdischen getragen haben, so werden wir auch das Bild des Himmlischen tragen.
50 But this I tell you, brethren: our mortal bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, nor will what is perishable inherit what is imperishable.
Soviel aber sage ich, Brüder, daß Fleisch und Blut das Reich Gottes nicht ererben können, noch die Verwesung die Unverweslichkeit ererbt.
51 I tell you a truth hitherto kept secret: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Siehe, ich sage euch ein Geheimnis: Wir werden nicht alle entschlafen, alle aber verwandelt werden.
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the sounding of the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incapable of decay, and we shall be changed.
Im Nu, im Augenblick, bei der letzten Posaune
53 For so it must be: this perishable nature must clothe itself with what is imperishable, and this mortality must clothe itself with immortality.
Denn dieses Verwesliche muß Unverweslichkeit anziehen, und dieses Sterbliche Unsterblichkeit anziehen.
54 But when this perishable nature has put on what is imperishable, and this mortality has put on immortality, then will the words of Scripture be fulfilled, "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
Wenn aber dies Verwesliche Unverweslichkeit anzieht, und dies Sterbliche Unsterblichkeit anzieht, dann wird das Wort in Erfüllung gehen, das geschrieben steht: Der Tod ist verschlungen in den Sieg.
Tod, wo ist dein Stachel? Hölle, wo ist dein Sieg? (Hadēs g86)
56 Now sin is the sting of death, and sin derives its power from the Law;
Der Stachel des Todes aber ist die Sünde, die Macht der Sünde aber ist das Gesetz.
57 but God be thanked who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
Gott aber sei Dank, Der uns den Sieg gegeben hat durch unseren Herrn Jesus Christus.
58 Therefore, my dear brethren, be firm, unmovable, busily occupied at all times in the Lord's work, knowing that your toil is not fruitless in the Lord.
Darum, meine geliebten Brüder, seid fest, unbeweglich, nehmt immer mehr zu in dem Werke des Herrn und seid eingedenk, daß eure Arbeit in dem Herrn nicht vergeblich ist!
