1 Corinthians 15
1 But let me recall to you, brethren, the Good News which I brought you, which you accepted, and on which you are standing,
Karon magpahinumdom ako kaninyo, mga igsoon, sa ebanghelyo nga gimantala ko kaninyo, diin inyong gidawat ug inyong gibarogan.
2 through which also you are obtaining salvation, if you bear in mind the words in which I proclaimed it--unless indeed your faith has been unreal from the very first.
Pinaagi niini nga ebanghelyo kamo naluwas, kung mokupot kamo nga lig-on sa pulong nga gisangyaw ko kaninyo, gawas kon kawang ang inyong gituohan.
3 For I repeated to you the all-important fact which also I had been taught, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures;
Kay gidala nako kaninyo ang pinakamahinungdanon nga mga butang nga nadawat usab nako: nga si Cristo namatay alang sa atong mga sala sumala sa mga kasulatan,
4 that He was buried; that He rose to life again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
nga gilubong siya, ug nga nabanhaw siya sa ikatulo nga adlaw sumala sa mga kasulatan.
5 and was seen by Peter, and then by the Twelve.
Ug nagpakita siya kang Cefas, unya ngadto sa napulo ug duha.
6 Afterwards He was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once, most of whom are still alive, although some of them have now fallen asleep.
Unya sa usa ka higayon nagpakita siya sa kapin 500 ka mga kaigsoonan. Kadaghanan kanila mga buhi pa gihapon, apan ang pipila nakatulog.
7 Afterwards He was seen by James, and then by all the Apostles.
Unya mipakita siya kang Santiago, unya ngadto sa tanang mga apostoles.
8 And last of all, as to one of untimely birth, He appeared to me also.
Sa kataposan niining tanan, mipakita siya kanako, ingon sa usa ka bata nga natawo sa sayop nga panahon.
9 For I am the least of the Apostles, and am not fit to be called an Apostle--because I persecuted the Church of God.
Kay ako mao ang kinaulahian sa mga apostoles. Dili ako takos nga tawgon nga usa ka apostoles tungod kay akong gilutos ang simbahan sa Dios.
10 But what I am I am by the grace of God, and His grace bestowed upon me did not prove ineffectual. But I labored more strenuously than all the rest--yet it was not I, but God's grace working with me.
Apan pinaagi sa grasya sa Dios ako mao ako, ug ang iyang grasya nga ania kanako wala makawang. Hinuon, naningkamot ako sa pagbuhat kaysa kanilang tanan. Apan dili kini ako, kini ang grasya sa Dios nga ania kanako.
11 But whether it is I or they, this is the way we preach and the way that you came to believe.
Busa bisan ako o sila, mao nga kami nagsangyaw ug kamo mituo.
12 But if Christ is preached as having risen from the dead, how is it that some of you say that there is no such thing as a resurrection of the dead?
Karon kung si Cristo gimantala ingon nga nabanhaw gikan sa mga patay, unsaon man pag-ingon sa pipila kaninyo nga walay pagkabanhaw sa mga patay?
13 If there is no such thing as a resurrection of the dead, then Christ Himself has not risen to life.
Apan kung walay pagkabanhaw sa mga patay, buot pasabot bisan si Cristo wala mabanhaw.
14 And if Christ has not risen, it follows that what we preach is a delusion, and that your faith also is a delusion.
Ug kung wala mabanhaw si Cristo, buot pasabot ang among pagsangyaw kawang lamang, ug ang inyong pagtuo usab kawang lamang.
15 Nay more, we are actually being discovered to be bearing false witness about God, because we have testified that God raised Christ to life, whom He did not raise, if in reality none of the dead are raised.
Ug kita makaplagan nga mini nga mga saksi mahitungod sa Dios, tungod kay kita nagpamatuod batok sa Dios, sa pag-ingon nga siya nagbanhaw kang Cristo bisan wala man diay.
16 For if none of the dead are raised to life, then Christ has not risen;
Kay kung ang mga patay dili banhawon, pasabot nga bisan si Cristo wala usab mabanhaw.
17 and if Christ has not risen, your faith is a vain thing--you are still in your sins.
Ug kung si Cristo wala banhawa, ang inyong pagtuo kawang lamang ug kamo anaa pa gihapon sa inyong mga sala.
18 It follows also that those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
Unya kadtong nangamatay diha kang Cristo mahanaw usab.
19 If in this present life we have a hope resting on Christ, and nothing more, we are more to be pitied than all the rest of the world.
Kung niini lamang nga kinabuhi kita adunay pagsalig sa umaabot diha kang Cristo, sa tanang katawhan kita ang labing makaluluoy.
20 But, in reality, Christ has risen from among the dead, being the first to do so of those who are asleep.
Apan karon si Cristo gibanhaw gikan sa mga patay, ang unang mga bunga niadtong mga nangamatay.
21 For seeing that death came through man, through man comes also the resurrection of the dead.
Kay sanglit ang kamatayon miabot pinaagi sa usa ka tawo, pinaagi usab sa usa ka tawo miabot ang pagkabanhaw sa mga patay.
22 For just as through Adam all die, so also through Christ all will be made alive again.
Kay tungod kang Adan ang tanan mamatay, busa diha usab kang Cristo ang tanan mahimong buhi.
23 But this will happen to each in the right order--Christ having been the first to rise, and afterwards Christ's people rising at His return.
Apan ang tagsatagsa anaay kaugalingon nga han-ay: Kang Cristo, nga mao ang unang mga bunga, ug unya kadtong nahisakop kang Cristo mabuhi sa iyang pag-abot.
24 Later on, comes the End, when He is to surrender the Kingship to God, the Father, when He shall have overthrown all other government and all other authority and power.
Unya mao na ang kataposan, sa diha nga si Cristo motugyan sa gingharian ngadto sa Dios nga Amahan. Mao kini ang panahon nga iyang wagtangon ang tanan nga mando, ug tanan nga pamunoan ug gahom.
25 For He must continue King until He shall have put all His enemies under His feet.
Kay kinahanglan nga siya maghari, hangtod nga mabutang niya ang tanan niyang mga kaaway ilalom sa iyang mga tiil.
26 The last enemy that is to be overthrown is Death;
Ang kataposan nga kaaway nga pagalaglagon mao ang kamatayon.
27 for He will have put all things in subjection under His feet. And when He shall have declared that "All things are in subjection," it will be with the manifest exception of Him who has reduced them all to subjection to Him.
Kay “iyang gibutang ang tanang butang ubos sa iyang mga tiil.” Apan sa dihang giingon nga “iyang gibutang ang tanan,” kini tataw nga dili lakip ang usa nga nagbutang sa tanan ilalom sa iyang kaugalingon.
28 But when the whole universe has been made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also become subject to Him who has made the universe subject to Him, in order that GOD may be all in all.
Sa dihang ang tanang mga butang napailalom kaniya, nagpasabot nga mismo ang Anak mahimong ilamom kaniya nga nagpailalom sa tanang butang diha kaninya. Kini mahitabo aron nga ang Dios nga Amahan mahimong tanan sa tanan.
29 Otherwise what will become of those who got themselves baptized for the dead? If the dead do not rise at all, why are these baptized for them?
O kon dili unsa man ang mahimo niadtong gibawtismohan alang sa mga patay? Kung ang mga patay wala gayod gibanhaw, nganong gibawtismohan man sila alang kanila?
30 Why also do we Apostles expose ourselves to danger every hour?
Ug nganong sa matag takna anaa man kita sa kakuyaw?
31 I protest, brethren, as surely as I glory over you--which I may justly do in Christ Jesus our Lord--that I die day by day.
Namatay ako sa matag adlaw. Kana mao ang ipahayag ko sa akong pagpasigarbo nganha kaninyo, mga kaigsoonan, nga akong nabatonan diha kang Cristo Jesus nga atong Ginoo.
32 If from merely human motives I have fought with wild beasts in Ephesus, what profit is it to me? If the dead do not rise, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we are to die.
Unsa man ang akong maangkon, gikan sa usa ka tawhanong panglantaw, kung nakig-away ako batok sa mga mapintas nga mananap didto sa Efeso, kung wala mabanhaw ang mga patay? “Mangaon kita ug manginom, kay ugma mangamatay kita.”
33 Do not deceive yourselves: "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
Ayaw pagpalimbong: “Ang daotang mga kauban makadaot sa maayong mga pamatasan.”
34 Wake from this drunken fit; live righteous lives, and cease to sin; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak thus in order to move you to shame.
Pagmatngon! Pagpuyo nga matarong! Ayaw pagpakasala. Kay ang pipila kaninyo walay kahibalo sa Dios. Isulti ko kini aron maulawan kamo.
35 But some one will say, "How can the dead rise? And with what kind of body do they come back?"
Apan moingon ang usa ka tawo, “Unsaon man pagkabanhaw sa mga patay? Ug sa unsa man nga matang sa lawas sila moabot?”
36 Foolish man! the seed you yourself sow has no life given to it unless it first dies;
Wala gayod kamoy alamag! Kung unsa ang inyong gipugas dili magsugod sa pagtubo gawas kon kini mamatay.
37 and as for what you sow, it is not the plant which is to be that you are sowing, but a bare grain, of wheat (it may be) or of something else, and God gives it a body as He has seen fit,
Ug kung unsa ang inyong gipugas dili mao ang lawas nga mogula, apan usa ka binhi. Mamahimo kining trigo o lain pang butang.
38 and to each kind of seed a body of its own.
Apan ang Dios magahatag niini ug lawas nga maoy iyang gipili, ug sa matag binhi ang iyang kaugalingon nga lawas.
39 All flesh is not the same: there is human flesh, and flesh of cattle, of birds, and of fishes.
Dili ang tanan nga unod managsama. Hinuon, adunay usa ka unod sa mga tawo, ug laing unod alang sa mga mananap, ug lain pang unod alang sa mga langgam, ug lain alang sa isda.
40 There are bodies which are celestial and there are bodies which are earthly, but the glory of the celestial ones is one thing, and that of the earthly ones is another.
Aduna usab langitnon nga mga lawas ug yutan-on nga mga lawas. Apan ang himaya sa langitnon nga lawas usa ka matang ug ang himaya sa yutan-on lahi usab.
41 There is one glory of the sun, another of the moon, and another of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.
Adunay usa ka himaya sa adlaw, ug laing himaya sa bulan, ug laing himaya sa mga bituon. Kay ang himaya sa usa ka bituon lahi kaysa lain pa nga bituon.
42 It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in a state of decay, it is raised free from decay;
Mao usab ang pagkabanhaw sa mga patay. Kung unsa ang ginapugas madunoton, ug kadtong gibanhaw dili madunot.
43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
Kini gipugas sa kaulawan; kini gibanhaw sa himaya. Kini gipugas sa kahuyang; kini gibanhaw sa gahom.
44 an animal body is sown, a spiritual body is raised. As surely as there is an animal body, so there is also a spiritual body.
Kini gipugas sa usa ka tawhanon nga lawas; kini gibanhaw sa usa ka espirituhanon nga lawas. Kung adunay tawhanon nga lawas, adunay espirituhanon usab nga lawas.
45 In the same way also it is written, "The first man Adam became a living animal"; the last Adam is a life-giving Spirit.
Busa kini nahisulat usab, “Ang unang tawo nga si Adan nahimong buhi nga kalag.” Ang kataposan nga Adan nahimong usa ka nagahatag ug kinabuhi nga espiritu.
46 Nevertheless, it is not what is spiritual that came first, but what is animal; what is spiritual came afterwards.
Apan ang espirituhanon wala nahiuna ug abot apan ang lawasnon, ug unya ang espirituhanon.
47 The first man is a man of earth, earthy; the second man is from Heaven.
Ang nauna nga tawo iya sa yuta, hinimo sa abog. Ang ikaduha nga tawo gikan sa langit.
48 What the earthy one is, that also are those who are earthy; and what the heavenly One is, that also are those who are heavenly.
Kadtong mga hinimo sa abog sama usab kaniya nga hinimo sa abog. Ug kadtong mga hinimo sa langit, sama usab kaniya nga iya sa langit.
49 And as we have borne a resemblance to the earthy one, let us see to it that we also bear a resemblance to the heavenly One.
Ingon nga gidala nato ang panagway sa tawo sa abog, dalhon usab nato ang panagway sa tawo sa langit.
50 But this I tell you, brethren: our mortal bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, nor will what is perishable inherit what is imperishable.
Karon isulti ko kini, mga igsoon, nga ang unod ug dugo dili makapanunod sa gingharian sa Dios. Ni unsa ang madunot makapanunod sa unsa ang dili madunot.
51 I tell you a truth hitherto kept secret: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Tan-awa! Sultihan ko kamo sa usa ka tinago nga kamatuoran: Kitang tanan dili mamatay, apan kitang tanan mausab.
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the sounding of the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incapable of decay, and we shall be changed.
Kita mangausab sa usa ka gutlo, sa pagpamilok sa mata, diha sa kataposan nga trumpeta. Kay patingogon ang trumpeta, ug pagabanhawon ang mga patay ug dili na madunot, ug kita mausab.
53 For so it must be: this perishable nature must clothe itself with what is imperishable, and this mortality must clothe itself with immortality.
Kay kining madunot nga lawas kinahanglan masul-oban sa kung unsa ang dili madunot, ug kining adunay kamatayon nga lawas kinahanglan masul-oban sa walay kamatayon.
54 But when this perishable nature has put on what is imperishable, and this mortality has put on immortality, then will the words of Scripture be fulfilled, "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
Apan sa dihang kining madunot nga lawas masul-oban sa kon unsa ang dili madunot, ug sa dihang kining lawas nga mamatay masul-oban sa walay kamatayon, unya matuman na ang panultihon nga nahisulat, “Ang kamatayon gilamoy diha sa kadaogan.”
“Kamatayon, hain ang imong kadaogan? Kamatayon, hain ang imong kasakit?” (Hadēs g86)
56 Now sin is the sting of death, and sin derives its power from the Law;
Ang kasakit sa kamatayon mao ang sala, ug ang gahom sa sala mao ang balaod.
57 but God be thanked who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
Apan salamat sa Dios, nga maoy naghatag kanato sa kadaogan pinaagi sa atong Ginoong Jesu-Cristo!
58 Therefore, my dear brethren, be firm, unmovable, busily occupied at all times in the Lord's work, knowing that your toil is not fruitless in the Lord.
Busa, akong hinigugma nga mga kaigsoonan, pagmalig-on ug ayaw pagpatarog. Kanunay nga magmadagayaon sa buhat sa Ginoo, tungod kay kamo nasayod nga ang inyong buhat sa Ginoo dili makawang.
