Zechariah 4
1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
১পরে যে স্বর্গদূত আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন তিনি ফিরে এলেন এবং কাউকে ঘুম থেকে জাগানোর মত করে, আমাকে জাগালেন।
2 And said to me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick: all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [were] upon the top of it.
২তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “তুমি কি দেখতে পাচ্ছ?” আমি বললাম, “আমি একটা সোনার বাতিদান দেখতে পাচ্ছি যার মাথায় রয়েছে একটা পাত্র, সেই বাতিদানের উপরে সাতটি প্রদীপ ও প্রত্যেকটি প্রদীপে সাতটি সলতে রাখবার জায়গা।
3 And two olive-trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side].
৩তার কাছে আছে দুইটি জিতবৃক্ষ, ডানদিকে একটা ও বাঁদিকে আর একটা।”
4 So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my lord?
৪আমি তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “হে আমার প্রভু, এগুলো কি?”
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said to me, Knowest thou not what these are? and I said, No, my lord.
৫তাতে যে স্বর্গদূত আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “এগুলো কি তা কি তুমি জান না?” আমি বললাম, “হে আমার প্রভু, আমি জানি না।”
6 Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
৬তখন তিনি আমাকে বললেন, সরুব্বাবিলের প্রতি সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য, শক্তি দিয়ে নয় ক্ষমতা দিয়েও নয়, কিন্তু আমার আত্মা দিয়েই, বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
7 Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth [its] head-stone [with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace, to it.
৭হে বিরাট পাহাড়, তুমি কে? সরুব্বাবিলের সামনে তুমি সমভূমি হবে এবং সে চিৎকার করে অনুগ্রহ, এর প্রতি অনুগ্রহ বলতে বলতে সেই প্রধান পাথরটি বার করে নিয়ে আসবে।
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
৮তারপর সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হল,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me to you.
৯সরুব্বাবিলের হাত এই মন্দিরের ভিত্তি স্থাপন করেছে; তার হাতই সেটা শেষ করবে। তাতে তুমি জানতে পারবে যে, বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভুই তোমাদের কাছে আমাকে পাঠিয়েছেন।
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
১০কে ক্ষুদ্র বিষয়ের দিন কে তুচ্ছ করেছে? কিন্তু সরুব্বাবিলের হাতে ওলনদড়িটা দেখে সেই সাতটি প্রদীপ আনন্দ করবে, এগুলি সদাপ্রভুর চোখ যা সারা পৃথিবী প্রদক্ষিণে করে।
11 Then I answered, and said to him, What [are] these two olive-trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon its left [side]?
১১তখন আমি তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “ঐ বাতিদানের ডানদিকে ও বাঁদিকে যে দুইটি জিতবৃক্ষ আছে সেগুলো কি?”
12 And I answered again, and said to him, What [are these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves?
১২দ্বিতীয়বার তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “ঐ দুইটি জিতবৃক্ষের ডাল যা দুইটি সোনালী নলের পাশে আছে এবং যার মধ্যে দিয়ে সোনালী তেল বার হয়ে আসছে, ঐ ডালগুলোর অর্থ কি?”
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [are]? And I said, No, my lord.
১৩তখন তিনি উত্তর দিয়ে বললেন, “তুমি কি জান না ঐ দুইটির অর্থ কি?” আমি বললাম, “হে আমার প্রভু, জানি না।”
14 Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.
১৪তখন তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “এরা হল সেই অভিষিক্ত দুই জন, যারা সমস্ত পৃথিবীর প্রভুর সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে।”
