< Zechariah 13 >
1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
“ʻI he ʻaho ko ia ʻe fakaava ʻae matavai ki he fale ʻo Tevita, pea mo e kakai ʻo Selūsalema koeʻuhi ko e angahala, pea mo e taʻemaʻa.
2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, [that] I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, te u motuhi ʻae hingoa ʻoe ngaahi tamapua mei he fonua, pea ʻe ʻikai toe manatuʻi ʻi ai: pea te u pule ke mole atu mei he fonua ʻae kau kikite mo e laumālie ʻuli.
3 And it shall come to pass, [that] when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say to him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, kapau ʻe toe kikite ha taha, pea ʻe toki lea kiate ia ʻa ʻene tamai, pea mo ʻene fale, ʻaia ne ne tupu ai, ʻo pehē, ‘ʻE ʻikai te ke moʻui he ʻoku ke lea loi ʻi he huafa ʻo Sihova:’ pea ko ʻene tamai, pea mo ʻene faʻē naʻa ne tupu ai, te na hokaʻi ia ke ʻasi, ʻoka fai ʻe ia ʻae kikite.
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻe mā ʻae kau kikite taki taha ʻi heʻene meʻa hā mai, ʻoka fai ʻe ia ʻene kikite; pea ʻe ʻikai te nau kofuʻaki ʻae kofu ʻoe fulufuluʻi manu ke fai ʻae kākā:
5 But he shall say, I [am] no prophet, I [am] a husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
Ka te ne pehē, ‘ʻOku ʻikai ko ha kikite au, ka ko e tangata ngoue: he naʻe akoʻi au ʻe ha tangata ke tauhimanu talu ʻeku kei siʻi.’
6 And [one] shall say to him, What [are] these wounds in thy hands? Then he shall answer, [Those] with which I was wounded [in] the house of my friends.
Pea ʻe pehē mai ʻe ha taha kiate ia, ‘Ko e hā ʻae ngaahi lavea ko ʻena ʻi ho nima?’ Pea te ne pehē ʻe ia, ‘Ko e ngaahi lavea ʻi heʻeku ʻi he fale ʻo hoku kāinga.’
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man [that is] my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.
“ʻE heletā, ke ke ʻā, ki heʻeku tauhi, pea ki he tangata ko ia ʻoku ma kaumeʻa,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau. “Taaʻi ʻae tauhi, pea ʻe movetevete ʻae fanga sipi: pea te u tafoki atu hoku nima kiate kinautolu ʻoku kei iiki.
8 And it shall come to pass, [that] in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off [and] die; but the third shall be left therein.
Pea ʻe hoko ia ʻo pehē, ʻi he fonua kotoa,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ko hono vahe ʻe ua ʻe motuhi, pea ʻe mate; ka ko hono vahe ʻe taha ʻe tuku ia ʻi ai.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It [is] my people; and they shall say, The LORD [is] my God.
