Titus 1

1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is according to godliness;

لە پۆڵسەوە، بەندەی خودا و نێردراوی عیسای مەسیح، لە پێناوی گەشەکردنی باوەڕی ئەوانەی خودا هەڵیبژاردوون بۆ ناسینی ئەو ڕاستییەی کە بەرەو لەخواترسییان دەبات،

2 In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began; (aiōnios g166)

بە هیوای ئەو ژیانە هەتاهەتاییەی کە خودا، ئەوەی هەرگیز درۆ ناکات، لەپێش دەستپێکی زەمان بەڵێنی داوە. (aiōnios g166)

3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior;

لە کاتی خۆیدا وشەکەی بە ڕاگەیاندن دەرخست، ئەوەی بەگوێرەی فەرمانی خودای ڕزگارکەرمان بە من سپێردرا.

4 To Titus, [my] own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

بۆ تیتۆسی کوڕی ڕاستەقینەم بەگوێرەی باوەڕی هاوبەشمان: با نیعمەت و ئاشتی لە خودای باوک و عیسای مەسیحی ڕزگارکەرمانەوە لەگەڵت بێت.

5 For this cause I left thee in Crete, that thou shouldst set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

لەبەر ئەمە تۆم لە دوورگەی کریت بەجێهێشت، تاکو ئەو شتانەی ماونەتەوە ڕێکیان بخەیت و لە هەموو شارێکدا پیران دابنێیت، وەک ڕامسپاردوویت.

6 If any is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, not accused of riot, or disorderly.

پیر دەبێت گلەیی لەسەر نەبێت، مێردی یەک ژن بێت، منداڵەکانی باوەڕدار بن و کەس لەسەر بەڕەڵایی و یاخیبوون سکاڵایان لێ نەکات.

7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

لەبەر ئەوەی چاودێر سەرکاری خودایە، پێویستە گلەیی لەسەر نەبێت، خۆسەپێن و تووڕە و سەرخۆش و شەڕفرۆش نەبێت، چاوی لە دەستکەوتی ناڕەوا نەبێت،

8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

بەڵکو میوان دۆست بێت، حەز لە چاکە بکات، ژیر بێت، ڕاستودروست و پیرۆز و خۆڕاگر بێت.

9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

دەست بە پەیامی متمانەوە بگرێت کە بەگوێرەی فێرکردنە، تاکو بتوانێت بە فێرکردنی دروست خەڵک هانبدات، سەرزەنشتی بەرهەڵستکاران بکات.

10 For there are many disorderly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

باسی ئەو شتانە دەکەم، چونکە خەڵکی یاخی زۆرن کە فێڵبازن و قسەی پووچ دەکەن، بە تایبەتی لەو تاقمەی کە دەڵێن دەبێ باوەڕدار خەتەنە بکرێت.

11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of sordid gain.

دەبێت دەمی ئەمانە دابخرێت، چونکە بۆ دەستکەوتی ناڕەوا، بە فێرکردنە ناپەسەندەکانیان تەواوی خێزانەکان هەڵدەگەڕێننەوە.

12 One of themselves, [even] a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians [are] always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

یەکێک لە پێغەمبەرانی دوورگەی کریت گوتوویەتی: «کریتییەکان هەمیشە درۆ دەکەن، دەعبای بەدکارن، نەوسنی تەمبەڵن.»

13 This testimony is true: wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

ئەم شایەتییە ڕاستە. لەبەر ئەوە بە توندی سەرزەنشتیان بکە، تاکو لە باوەڕەکەدا دروست بن و

14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men that turn from the truth.

سەرنج نەدەنە ئەفسانەی جولەکە و ڕاسپاردەی ئەو کەسانەی کە لە ڕاستی هەڵدەگەڕێنەوە.

15 To the pure all things [are] pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving [is] nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

بۆ پاک هەموو شتێک پاکە، بەڵام بۆ گڵاو و بێباوەڕان هیچ شتێک پاک نییە. لەڕاستیدا، بیر و ویژدانیشیان گڵاو بووە.

16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and to every good work reprobate.

بانگەشەی ئەوە دەکەن کە خودا دەناسن بەڵام بە کردەوە نکۆڵی لێ دەکەن. ئەوانە قێزەونن و گوێڕایەڵ نین و بەکەڵکی هیچ چاکەکارییەک نایەن.
