Song of Solomon 4
1 Behold, thou [art] fair, my love; behold, thou [art] fair; thou [hast] doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair [is] as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.
Siehe, du bist schön, meine Freundin, siehe, du bist schön; deine Augen sind wie Tauben hinter deinem Schleier; dein Haar gleicht der Ziegenherde, die sich am Berge Gilead lagert.
2 Thy teeth [are] like a flock [of sheep that are even] shorn, which came up from the washing; all of which bear twins, and none [is] barren among them.
Deine Zähne gleichen einer Herde frischgeschorener Schafe, die von der Schwemme kommen, die allzumal Zwillinge tragen und deren keines unfruchtbar ist.
3 Thy lips [are] like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech [is] comely: thy temples [are] like a piece of pomegranate within thy locks.
Deine Lippen sind wie eine Purpurschnur, und dein Mund ist lieblich; wie Granatäpfelhälften sind deine Wangen hinter deinem Schleier.
4 Thy neck [is] like the tower of David built for an armory, on which hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.
Dein Hals gleicht dem Davidsturm, zum Arsenal erbaut, mit tausend Schildern behängt, allen Tartschen der Helden.
5 Thy two breasts [are] like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.
Deine beiden Brüste gleichen zwei Rehkälbchen, Gazellenzwillingen, die zwischen den Lilien weiden.
6 Until the day shall break, and the shadows flee away, I will repair to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
Bis der Tag kühl wird und die Schatten fliehen, will ich auf den Myrrhenberg gehen und auf den Weihrauchhügel!
7 Thou [art] all fair, my love; [there is] no spot in thee.
Ganz schön bist du, meine Freundin, und kein Makel ist an dir!
8 Come with me from Lebanon, [my] spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.
Komm mit mir vom Libanon, Braut, komm mit mir vom Libanon! Steig herab vom Gipfel des Amana, vom Gipfel des Schenir und des Hermon, von den Wohnungen der Löwen, von den Bergen der Leoparden!
9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, [my] spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thy eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
Du hast mir das Herz genommen, meine Schwester, [meine] Braut, mit einem einzigen deiner Blicke, mit einem einzigen Kettchen von deinem Hals!
10 How fair is thy love, my sister, [my] spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thy ointments than all spices!
Wie schön sind deine Liebkosungen, meine Schwester, [meine] Braut; wie viel besser sind deine Liebkosungen als Wein, und der Duft deiner Salben als alle Wohlgerüche!
11 Thy lips, O [my] spouse, drop [as] the honey-comb; honey and milk [are] under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments [is] like the smell of Lebanon.
Honigseim träufeln deine Lippen, o Braut, Honig und Milch sind unter deiner Zunge, und der Geruch deiner Kleider ist wie der Geruch des Libanon!
12 A garden inclosed [is] my sister, [my] spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.
Ein verschlossener Garten ist meine Schwester, [meine] Braut; ein verschlossener Born, ein versiegelter Quell.
13 Thy plants [are] an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphor, with spikenard,
Deine Schößlinge sind ein Granatenpark mit herrlicher Frucht, Cyperblumen mit Narden;
14 Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:
Narden und Krokus, Kalmus und Zimt, samt allerlei Weihrauchbäumen, Myrrhen und Aloe und den vornehmsten Balsamstauden;
15 A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.
ein Gartenquell, ein Brunnen lebendigen Wassers, wie es vom Libanon rinnt!
16 Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, [that] its spices may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
Erwache, Nordwind; Südwind, komm, durchwehe meinen Garten, daß sein Balsam träufle! Mein Freund komme in seinen Garten und esse seine herrliche Frucht!
