Psalms 97
1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad.
El Señor es Rey, que la tierra tenga gozo; alégrense todas las costas e islas.
2 Clouds and darkness surround him: righteousness and judgment [are] the habitation of his throne.
Nubes oscuras lo rodean; su reino se basa en la justicia y el juicio correcto.
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
Fuego va delante de él, quemando a todos los que están contra él, a su alrededor alrededor.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
Sus relámpagos iluminan el mundo; la tierra lo vio con miedo.
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.
Los montes se volvieron como cera delante del Señor, ante él Señor de toda la tierra.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
Los cielos dieron la noticia de su justicia, y todo el pueblo vio su gloria.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols; worship him, all [ye] gods.
Avergonzados todos los que adoran las imágenes y se enorgullecen de los dioses falsos; Dale culto, todos ustedes dioses.
8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.
Sión escuchó y se alegró; y las hijas de Judá estaban llenas de alegría, por tus decisiones, oh Señor.
9 For thou, LORD, [art] high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
Porque tú, Señor altísimo, estás sobre toda la tierra; eres levantado sobre todos los demás dioses.
10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Ustedes amantes de Jehová, aborrezcan el mal; él guarda las almas de sus santos; él los quita de la mano de los pecadores.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
La luz brilla sobre los amantes de la justicia, y para los rectos de corazón hay alegría.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Alégrense en el Señor, hombres rectos; alabando el recuerdo de su santo nombre.
