Psalms 97

1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad.

ヱホバは統治たまふ 全地はたのしみ多くの島々はよろこぶべし

2 Clouds and darkness surround him: righteousness and judgment [are] the habitation of his throne.

雲とくらきとはそり周環にあり 義と公平とはその寳座のもとゐなり

3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

火ありそのみまへにすすみ その四周の敵をやきつくす

4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

ヱホバのいなびかりは世界をてらす 地これを見てふるへり

5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.

もろもろの山はヱホバのみまへ全地の主のみまへにて蝋のごとくとけぬ

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

もろもろの天はその義をあらはし よろづの民はその榮光をみたり

7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols; worship him, all [ye] gods.

すべてきざめる像につかへ虚しきものによりてみづから誇るものは恥辱をうくべし もろもろの神よみなヱホバをふしをがめ

8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

ヱホバよなんぢの審判のゆゑによりシオンはききてよろこびユダの女輩はみな樂しめり

9 For thou, LORD, [art] high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

ヱホバよなんぢ全地のうへにましまして至高く なんぢもろもろの神のうへにましまして至貴とし

10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

ヱホバを愛しむものよ惡をにくめ ヱホバはその聖徒のたましひをまもり 之をあしきものの手より助けいだしたまふ

11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

光はただしき人のためにまかれ 欣喜はこころ直きもののために播れたり

12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

義人よヱホバにより喜べ そのきよき名に感謝せよ
