Psalms 95

1 O come, let us sing to the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Oh venha, vamos cantar para Yahweh. Vamos gritar em voz alta para a rocha de nossa salvação!

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.

Venha antes de sua presença com a ação de graças. Vamos exaltá-lo com canções!

3 For the LORD [is] a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Pois Yahweh é um grande Deus, um grande rei acima de todos os deuses.

4 In his hand [are] the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills [is] his also.

Em sua mão estão os lugares profundos da terra. As alturas das montanhas também são dele.

5 The sea [is] his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry [land].

O mar é dele, e ele o fez. Suas mãos formaram a terra seca.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Oh venha, vamos adorar e curvar-nos. Vamos ajoelhar-nos diante de Yahweh, nosso Criador,

7 For he [is] our God; and we [are] the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To-day, if ye will hear his voice,

pois ele é nosso Deus. Nós somos o povo de seu pasto, e as ovelhas ao seu cuidado. Hoje, oh que você ouviria a voz dele!

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, [and] as [in] the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Não endureça seu coração, como no Meribah, como no dia do Massah no deserto,

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

quando seus pais me tentaram, me testou, e viu meu trabalho.

10 Forty years long was I grieved with [this] generation, and said, It [is] a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

Durante quarenta longos anos fiquei de luto com essa geração, e disse: “Eles são um povo que erra em seu coração”. Eles não conheceram meus caminhos”.

11 To whom I swore in my wrath, that they should not enter into my rest.

Portanto, jurei em minha ira, “Eles não vão entrar no meu descanso”.
