Psalms 92
1 A Psalm [or] Song for the sabbath day. [It is a] good [thing] to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.
૧ગીત, વિશ્રામવારને માટે ગાયન. યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરવી અને હે પરાત્પર તમારા નામનાં સ્તોત્ર ગાવાં, તે સારું છે.
2 To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.
૨સવારે તમારી કૃપા અને રાત્રે તમારું વિશ્વાસુપણું પ્રગટ કરો.
3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
૩દશ તારવાળાં વાજાં સાથે અને સિતાર સાથે વીણાના મધુર સ્વરથી તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.
4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
૪કેમ કે, હે યહોવાહ, તમે તમારા કૃત્યોથી મને આનંદ પમાડ્યો છે. તમારા હાથે થયેલાં કામને લીધે હું હર્ષનાદ કરીશ.
5 O LORD, how great are thy works! [and] thy thoughts are very deep.
૫હે યહોવાહ, તમારાં કૃત્યો કેવાં મહાન છે! તમારા વિચારો બહુ ગહન છે.
6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
૬અજ્ઞાની માણસ તે જાણતો નથી, મૂર્ખ પણ તે સમજી શકતો નથી.
7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that they shall be destroyed for ever:
૭જ્યારે દુષ્ટો ઘાસની જેમ વધે છે અને જ્યારે સર્વ અન્યાય કરનારાઓની ચઢતી થાય છે, ત્યારે તે તેઓનો સર્વકાલિક નાશ થવાને માટે છે.
8 But thou, LORD, [art most] high for evermore.
૮પણ, હે યહોવાહ, તમે સર્વકાળ રાજ કરશો.
9 For lo, thy enemies, O LORD, for lo, thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
૯તેમ છતાં, હે યહોવાહ, તમારા શત્રુઓ તરફ જુઓ; સર્વ દુષ્ટો વિખેરાઈ જશે.
10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like [the horn of] an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
૧૦તમે મારું શિંગ જંગલી બળદના શિંગ જેવું ઊંચું કર્યું છે; તાજા તેલથી મારો અભિષેક કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
11 My eye also shall see [my desire] on my enemies, [and] my ears shall hear [my desire] of the wicked that rise up against me.
૧૧મારા શત્રુઓને મારી ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે થયેલ મેં મારી નજરે જોયું છે; મારી સામે ઊઠનારા દુષ્કર્મીઓને મારી ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે ફળ મળ્યું એ મેં મારે કાને સાંભળ્યું છે.
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
૧૨ન્યાયી માણસ ખજૂરના વૃક્ષની જેમ ખીલશે; તે લબાનોનના દેવદારની જેમ વધશે.
13 Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
૧૩જેઓને યહોવાહના ઘરમાં રોપવામાં આવેલા છે; તેઓ આપણા ઈશ્વરનાં આંગણામાં ખીલી ઊઠશે.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
૧૪વૃદ્ધાવસ્થામાં પણ તેઓ ફળ આપશે; તેઓ તાજા અને લીલા રહેશે.
15 To show that the LORD [is] upright: [he is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in him.
૧૫જેથી પ્રગટ થાય કે યહોવાહ યથાર્થ છે. તે મારા ખડક છે અને તેમનામાં કંઈ અન્યાય નથી.
