Psalms 87

1 A Psalm [or] Song for the sons of Korah. His foundation [is] in the holy mountains.

௧கோராகின் மகன்களுடைய பாடல். அவர் அஸ்திபாரம் பரிசுத்த மலைகளில் இருக்கிறது.

2 The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

௨யெகோவா யாக்கோபின் தங்குமிடங்கள் எல்லாவற்றைவிட சீயோனின் வாசல்களில் பிரியமாக இருக்கிறார்.

3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. (Selah)

௩தேவனுடைய நகரமே! உன்னைக் குறித்து மகிமையான விசேஷங்கள் பேசப்படும். (சேலா)

4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Cush; this [man] was born there.

௪என்னை அறிந்தவர்களுக்குள்ளே ராகாபையும் பாபிலோனையும் குறித்துப் பேசுவேன்; இதோ, பெலிஸ்தியர்களிலும், தீரியர்களிலும், எத்தியோப்பியர்களிலுங்கூட, இன்னான் அங்கே பிறந்தான் என்றும்;

5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the Highest himself shall establish her.

௫சீயோனைக் குறித்து, இன்னான் இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தானென்றும் சொல்லப்படும்; உன்னதமான தேவன் தாமே அதை உறுதிப்படுத்துவார்.

6 The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, [that] this [man] was born there. (Selah)

௬யெகோவா மக்களைப் பெயரெழுதும்போது, இன்னான் அதிலே பிறந்தான் என்று அவர்களைக் கணக்கெடுப்பார். (சேலா)

7 As well the singers as the players on instruments [shall be there]: all my springs [are] in thee.

௭எங்களுடைய ஊற்றுகளெல்லாம் உன்னில் இருக்கிறது என்று பாடுவாரும் ஆடுவாரும் ஒன்றாக சொல்லுவார்கள்.
