< Psalms 85 >
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favorable to thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
Kora mma dwom. Ao Awurade wohunuu wʼasase mmɔbɔ; wode Yakob ahonyadeɛ sane maa no.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)
Wode wo nkurɔfoɔ bɔne kyɛɛ wɔn na wokataa wɔn nnebɔne nyinaa so.
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thy anger.
Wode wʼabofuo too nkyɛn na wodane firii wʼabufuhyeɛ ho.
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thy anger towards us to cease.
Sane gye yɛn bio, Ao Onyankopɔn, yɛn Gyefoɔ, na ma wʼani nnye yɛn ho.
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thy anger to all generations?
Wo bo bɛfu yɛn akɔsi daa anaa? Wʼabofuo bɛtoa so akɔ awoɔ ntoantoasoɔ nyinaa so anaa?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Worenhyɛ yɛn den bio, na ama wo nkurɔfoɔ asɛpɛ wɔn ho wɔ wo mu anaa?
7 Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Ao Awurade, kyerɛ yɛn wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no, na ma yɛn wo nkwagyeɛ no.
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Mɛtie deɛ Awurade Onyankopɔn bɛka. Ɔde asomdwoeɛ hyɛ ne nkurɔfoɔ, ahotefoɔ no bɔ, enti ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔsane kɔ agyimisɛm ho.
9 Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
Ampa ara, ne nkwagyeɛ bɛne wɔn a wɔsuro no, na nʼanimuonyam bɛtena yɛn asase so.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].
Ɔdɔ ne nokorɛdie bɛhyia, na tenenee ne asomdwoeɛ bɛfe wɔn ho wɔn ho ano.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Nokorɛdie bɛpue afiri asase no so, na tenenee ahwɛ afiri soro.
12 Yes, the LORD will give [that which is] good; and our land shall yield her increase.
Awurade bɛma yɛn deɛ ɛyɛ ampa ara na yɛn asase bɛma ne nnɔbaeɛ.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps.
Tenenee di nʼanim siesie ɛkwan ma nʼanammɔntuo.
