Psalms 85
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favorable to thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
| برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور بنی قورح ای خداوند از زمین خود راضی شده‌ای. اسیری یعقوب را بازآورده‌ای. | ۱ |
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)
| عصیان قوم خود را عفو کرده‌ای. تمامی گناهان ایشان را پوشانیده‌ای، سلاه. | ۲ |
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thy anger.
| تمامی غضب خود را برداشته، و از حدت خشم خویش رجوع کرده‌ای. | ۳ |
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thy anger towards us to cease.
| ای خدای نجات ما، مارا برگردان. و غیظ خود را از ما بردار. | ۴ |
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thy anger to all generations?
| آیا تا به ابدبا ما غضبناک خواهی بود؟ و خشم خویش رانسلا بعد نسل طول خواهی داد؟ | ۵ |
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
| آیا برگشته مارا حیات نخواهی داد تا قوم تو در تو شادی نمایند؟ | ۶ |
7 Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
| ای خداوند رحمت خود را بر ما ظاهر کن ونجات خویش را به ما عطا فرما. | ۷ |
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
| آنچه خدا یهوه می‌گوید خواهم شنید زیرا به قوم خود و به مقدسان خویش به سلامتی خواهد گفت تا بسوی جهالت برنگردند. | ۸ |
9 Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
| یقین نجات او به ترسندگان اونزدیک است تا جلال در زمین ما ساکن شود. | ۹ |
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].
| رحمت و راستی با هم ملاقات کرده‌اند. عدالت و سلامتی یکدیگر را بوسیده‌اند. | ۱۰ |
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
| راستی، از زمین خواهد رویید و عدالت، ازآسمان خواهد نگریست. | ۱۱ |
12 Yes, the LORD will give [that which is] good; and our land shall yield her increase.
| خداوند نیزچیزهای نیکو را خواهد بخشید و زمین مامحصول خود را خواهد داد. | ۱۲ |
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps.
| عدالت پیش روی او خواهد خرامید و آثار خود را طریقی خواهد ساخت. | ۱۳ |
