< Psalms 71 >
1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
Ihe ry Iehovà, ro itsolohako; ko apo’o ho salareñe,
2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thy ear to me, and save me.
Votsoro ami’ty havantaña’o, naho hahao; atokilaño amako ty ravembia’o vaho rombaho.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, to which I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou [art] my rock and my fortress.
Ehe t’ie ho vato fimoneñako, ho fimpoliako; fa nafanto’o ty handrombahañe ahiko; Ihe ro lamilamiko naho rova fiàroko.
4 Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
Avotsoro an-tañan-do-tsereke iraho, ry Andrianañahareko ami’ty fivontitira’ ty mpandilatse naho i mpampisoañey.
5 For thou [art] my hope, O LORD God: [thou art] my trust from my youth.
Fa Ihe ro fitamàko, ry Iehovà Talè; ty natokisako boak’ami’te nahajalahy.
6 By thee have I been sustained from my birth: thou art he that brought me into life: my praise [shall be] continually of thee.
Ihe ty nirampiako boak’an-kovin-dreneko ao; Ihe ty nañakatse ahy an-tron-dreneko; Rengeko nainai’e irehe.
7 I am as a wonder to many; but thou [art] my strong refuge.
Filatsà’ i màroy iraho, f’Ihe ro fipalirako maozatse.
8 Let my mouth be filled [with] thy praise [and with] thy honor all the day.
Pea’ ty fibangoañe naho ty fiasiañ’Azo lomoñandro ty vavako,
9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
Ko aitoa’o iraho naho fa bey; ko mamorintseñe ahy naho milesa ty haozarako.
10 For my enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
Fa nikinia’ o rafelahikoo; vaho mitrao-pikilily ahy o mivoñoñe ty fiaikoo,
11 Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for [there is] none to deliver [him].
ami’ty hoe: naforintsen’ Añahare, horidaño arè vaho tsepaho amy t’ie po-pañolotse.
12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
Ry Andrianañahare, ko ihànkaña’o, ry Andrianañahareko, malisà hañolots’ ahy.
13 Let them be confounded [and] consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered [with] reproach and dishonor that seek my hurt.
Ho salareñe naho mongoreñe o manisý ty fiaikoo; le hoboñañ’ inje naho hameñarañe o mipay hijoy ahikoo.
14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
Fa naho izaho, hitama nainai’e vaho honjoneko avao ty fandrengeako Azo.
15 My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness [and] thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers [thereof].
Ho talilie’ ty vavako o havantaña’oo, naho o fandrombaha’o lomoñandroo, fe nofiko ty hamaro’e.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, [even] of thine only.
Hindeseko o tolon-draha’o ra’elahio, ry Iehovà Talè; ho taroñeko ty havantaña’o, ty Azo avao.
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
Ry Andrianañahare, fa nanare’o ahy boak’ ami’ty nahajalahy ahy; pake henaneo, taroñeko avao o raha fanjaka fanoe’oo.
18 Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shown thy strength to [this] generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come.
Aa ndra t’ie bey naho fotivolo, ry Andrianañahare, ko farie’o ampara’ te ataliliko añ’afeafe ty haozara’o; ty hafatrara’o amy ze hene ho avy.
19 Thy righteousness also, O God, [is] very high, who hast done great things: O God, who [is] like to thee!
Pak’ andindiñe añe ty havantaña’o, ry Andrianañahare. Ihe namonitse o raha ra’elahio: ry Andrianañahare, ia ty mañirinkiriñe ama’o?
20 [Thou], who hast shown me great and severe troubles, wilt revive me again, and wilt bring me again from the depths of the earth.
Ihe nampahatrea ahiko haemberañe maro naho hasotriañe; ro hameloñ’ahy, hañakatse naho hampipoly ahy hirik’ an-kerakeran-tane ao.
21 Thou wilt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
Ehe, onjono ty engeko, vaho mitoliha hañohò ahy.
22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, [even] thy truth, O my God: to thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
Ho rengeko ami’ty mandalina ka, ty ami’ty hatò’o, ry Andrianañahareko; ho saboeko ami’ty marovany, ry Masi-Toka’ Israele.
23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
Hipoñake an-drebeke o soñikoo, ie mandrenge Azo an-tsabo, naho i fiaiko jineba’oy.
24 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought to shame, that seek my hurt.
Ho talilie’ ty lelako lomoñandro o havantaña’oo, fa salatse, toe meñatse o mipay hijoy ahikoo.
