< Psalms 70 >
1 To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David to bring to remembrance. [Make haste], O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
Oh ʼElohim, apresúrate a librarme. Apresúrate, oh Yavé, a socorrerme.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
Sean avergonzados y humillados Los que buscan mi vida, Sean vueltos atrás y confundidos Los que desean mi mal.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
Sean vueltos atrás a causa de su vergüenza Los que dicen: ¡Ea, ea!
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
Regocíjense y alégrense en Ti todos los que te buscan. Y aquellos que aman tu salvación digan siempre: ¡Engrandecido sea ʼElohim!
5 But I [am] poor and needy: make haste to me, O God: thou [art] my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no delay.
Pero yo estoy afligido y menesteroso. Oh ʼElohim, apresúrate a mí. Tú eres mi Ayudador y mi Libertador. Oh Yavé, no demores.
