< Psalms 66 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Song [or] Psalm. Make a joyful noise to God, all ye lands:
Ya mukulu wa bayimbi. Oluyimba, Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Yimbira Mukama n’eddoboozi ery’omwanguka, ggwe ensi yonna.
2 Sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious.
Muyimbe ekitiibwa ky’erinnya lye. Mumuyimbire ennyimba ezimusuuta.
3 Say to God, How terrible [art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thy enemies submit themselves to thee.
Gamba Katonda nti, “Ebikolwa byo nga bya ntiisa! Olw’amaanyi go amangi abalabe bo bakujeemulukukira.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing to thee; they shall sing [to] thy name. (Selah)
Ab’omu nsi yonna bakuvuunamira, bakutendereza, bayimba nga bagulumiza erinnya lyo.”
5 Come and see the works of God: [he is] terrible [in his] doing towards the children of men.
Mujje mulabe Katonda ky’akoze; mulabe eby’entiisa by’akoledde abaana b’abantu!
6 He turned the sea into dry [land]: they went through the flood on foot: there we rejoiced in him.
Ennyanja yagifuula olukalu. Abantu baasomoka omugga n’ebigere nga temuli mazzi, kyetuva tujaguza.
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
Afuga n’amaanyi ge emirembe gyonna; amaaso ge agasimba ku mawanga, ab’omutima omujeemu baleme okumujeemera.
8 O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
Mutendereze Katonda waffe, mmwe amawanga; eddoboozi ery’okumutendereza liwulirwe wonna.
9 Who holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
Oyo y’atukuumye ne tuba balamu, n’ataganya bigere byaffe kuseerera.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
Kubanga ggwe, Ayi Katonda, otugezesezza, n’otulongoosa nga bwe bakola ffeeza mu muliro.
11 Thou hast brought us into the net; thou hast laid affliction upon our loins.
Watuteeka mu kkomera, n’otutikka emigugu.
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy [place].
Waleka abantu ne batulinnyirira; ne tuyita mu muliro ne mu mazzi, n’otutuusa mu kifo eky’okwesiima.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
Nnaayambukanga mu yeekaalu yo n’ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa, ntuukirize obweyamo bwange gy’oli,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
nga ndeeta ekyo emimwa gyange kye gyasuubiza; akamwa kange kye kaayogera bwe nnali mu kabi.
15 I will offer to thee burnt-sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
Nnaawaayo gy’oli ssaddaaka ez’ensolo ensava, mpeeyo ne ssaddaaka ey’endiga ennume; mpeeyo ente ennume n’embuzi.
16 Come [and] hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Mujje muwulire, mmwe mwenna abatya Katonda, mbategeeze ebyo by’ankoledde.
17 I cried to him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
Namukaabirira n’akamwa kange, ne mutendereza n’olulimi lwange.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear [me]:
Singa nnali nsirikidde ekibi mu mutima gwange, Mukama teyandimpulirizza;
19 [But] verily God hath heard [me]; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
ddala ddala Katonda yampuliriza era n’awulira eddoboozi lyange nga nsaba.
20 Blessed [be] God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
Katonda atenderezebwenga, atagobye kusaba kwange, wadde okunziggyako okwagala kwe okutaggwaawo!
