< Psalms 65 >
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm [and] Song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion: and to thee shall the vow be performed.
Fún adarí orin. Saamu ti Dafidi. Orin. Ìyìn ń dúró dè ọ́, Ọlọ́run, ní Sioni; sí ọ ni a ó mú ẹ̀jẹ́ wa ṣẹ.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, to thee shall all flesh come.
Ìwọ tí ó ń gbọ́ àdúrà, gbogbo ènìyàn yóò sì wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ.
3 Iniquities prevail against me: [as for] our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
Ọ̀ràn àìṣedéédéé borí mi bí ó ṣe ti ìrékọjá wa ni! Ìwọ ni yóò wẹ̀ wọ́n nù kúrò.
4 Blessed [is the man whom] thou choosest, and causest to approach [to thee], [that] he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, [even] of thy holy temple.
Ìbùkún ni fún àwọn tí o yàn tí o mú wa láti máa gbé àgọ́ rẹ! A tẹ́ wá lọ́rùn pẹ̀lú ohun rere inú ilé rẹ, ti tẹmpili mímọ́ rẹ.
5 [By] terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; [who art] the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off [upon] the sea:
Ìwọ dá wa lóhùn pẹ̀lú ohun ìyanu ti òdodo, Ọlọ́run olùgbàlà wa, ẹni tí ṣe ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé gbogbo òpin ayé àti àwọn tí ó jìnnà nínú òkun,
6 Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains; [being] girded with power:
ìwọ tí ó dá òkè nípa agbára rẹ, tí odi ara rẹ ní àmùrè agbára,
7 Who stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
ẹni tí ó mú rírú omi òkun dákẹ́, ríru ariwo omi wọn, àti ìdágìrì àwọn ènìyàn.
8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
Àwọn tí ó ń gbé òkèrè bẹ̀rù, nítorí àmì rẹ wọ̀n-ọn-nì; ìwọ mú ìjáde òwúrọ̀ àti ti àṣálẹ́ yọ̀, ìwọ pè fún orin ayọ̀.
9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, [which] is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
Ìwọ bẹ ayé wò, o sì bomirin; ìwọ mú un ọ̀rọ̀ púpọ̀. Odò Ọlọ́run kún fún omi láti pèsè ọkà fún àwọn ènìyàn, nítorí ibẹ̀ ni ìwọ ti yàn án.
10 Thou waterest the ridges of it abundantly: thou settlest the furrows of it: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing of it.
Ìwọ fi bomirin sí aporo rẹ̀ ìwọ tẹ́ ògúlùtu rẹ̀; ìwọ fi òjò mú ilẹ̀ rẹ̀ rọ̀, o sì bùkún ọ̀gbìn rẹ̀.
11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
Ìwọ fi oore rẹ dé ọdún ní adé, ọ̀rá ń kán ní ipa ọ̀nà rẹ.
12 They drop [upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
Pápá tútù ní aginjù ń kan àwọn òkè kéékèèké fi ayọ̀ di ara wọn ní àmùrè.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
Agbo ẹran ni a fi wọ pápá tútù náà ní aṣọ; àfonífojì ni a fi ọkà bò mọ́lẹ̀, wọ́n hó fún ayọ̀, wọ́n ń kọrin pẹ̀lú.
