Psalms 65
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm [and] Song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion: and to thee shall the vow be performed.
En ti reposa la alabanza, o! Dios, en Sión; y a ti se pagará el voto.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, to thee shall all flesh come.
Tú oyes la oración, a ti vendrá toda carne.
3 Iniquities prevail against me: [as for] our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
Palabras de iniquidades me sobrepujaron: mas nuestras rebeliones, tú las perdonarás.
4 Blessed [is the man whom] thou choosest, and causest to approach [to thee], [that] he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, [even] of thy holy temple.
Dichoso el que tú escogieres, e hicieres llegar para que habite en tus patios: seremos hartos del bien de tu casa, de tu santo templo.
5 [By] terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; [who art] the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off [upon] the sea:
Con terribilidades nos oirás en justicia, o! Dios de nuestra salud: esperanza de todos los fines de la tierra, y de las partes más lejanas de la mar.
6 Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains; [being] girded with power:
El que afirma los montes con su fortaleza, ceñido de valentía.
7 Who stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
El que amansa el estruendo de las mares, el estruendo de sus ondas: y el alboroto de las civiles sediciones.
8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
Y los habitadores de los fines de la tierra temen de tus maravillas: que haces alegrar las salidas de la mañana y de la tarde.
9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, [which] is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
Visitas la tierra, y después que la has hecho desear mucho, la enriqueces: el río de Dios lleno de aguas: aparejas el grano de ellos: porque así la ordenaste.
10 Thou waterest the ridges of it abundantly: thou settlest the furrows of it: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing of it.
Embriagas sus surcos, haces descender el agua en sus regaderas: ablándasla con lluvias, bendices sus renuevos.
11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
Coronas el año de tus bienes: y tus nubes destilan grosura.
12 They drop [upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
Destilan sobre las habitaciones del desierto: y los collados se ciñen de alegría,
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
Vístense los llanos de ovejas, y los valles se cubren de grano: regocíjanse, y aun cantan.
