Psalms 65
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm [and] Song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion: and to thee shall the vow be performed.
Para el músico principal. Un salmo de David. Una canción. La alabanza te espera, Dios, en Sión. Los votos serán realizados a usted.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, to thee shall all flesh come.
Tú que escuchas la oración, todos los hombres vendrán a ti.
3 Iniquities prevail against me: [as for] our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
Pecados me abrumó, pero tú expiaste nuestras transgresiones.
4 Blessed [is the man whom] thou choosest, and causest to approach [to thee], [that] he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, [even] of thy holy temple.
Dichoso el que eliges y haces que se acerque, para que viva en tus tribunales. Nos llenaremos de la bondad de tu casa, tu templo sagrado.
5 [By] terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; [who art] the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off [upon] the sea:
Con impresionantes obras de justicia, nos respondes, Dios de nuestra salvación. Tú que eres la esperanza de todos los confines de la tierra, de los que están lejos en el mar.
6 Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains; [being] girded with power:
Con tu poder, formas las montañas, habiéndote armado de fuerza.
7 Who stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
Tú calmas el rugido de los mares, el rugido de sus olas, y la agitación de las naciones.
8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
También los que habitan en lugares lejanos se asustan ante tus maravillas. Llamas al alba de la mañana y a la tarde con cantos de alegría.
9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, [which] is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
Tú visitas la tierra y la riegas. Lo enriqueces enormemente. El río de Dios está lleno de agua. Tú les proporcionas el grano, pues así lo has ordenado.
10 Thou waterest the ridges of it abundantly: thou settlest the furrows of it: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing of it.
Empapas sus surcos. Nivela sus crestas. Lo suavizas con duchas. Lo bendices con un cultivo.
11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
Coronas el año con tu generosidad. Sus carros rebosan de abundancia.
12 They drop [upon] the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
Las praderas salvajes se desbordan. Las colinas se visten de alegría.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
Los pastos deestán cubiertos de rebaños. Los valles también están revestidos de grano. ¡Gritan de alegría! También cantan.
