< Psalms 58 >
1 To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, Michtam of David. Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
David ƒe nufiameha na hɛnɔ la. Woadzii ɖe “Mègagblẽ nu o” ƒe gbeɖiɖi nu. Ɖe mi dziɖulawo mietoa nyateƒea? Ɖe mietsoa afia dzɔdzɔe na amewoa?
2 Yes, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
Ao, nu madzɔmadzɔ wɔwɔ boŋ míeɖo ɖe miaƒe dziwo me, eye míaƒe asiwo wɔa ŋutasẽnu le anyigba dzi.
3 The wicked are estranged from their birth: they go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
Ame vɔ̃ɖiwo tra mɔ tso keke woƒe vidzĩ me ke, eye tso wo dadawo ƒe dɔ me ke, wodze aglã, hedaa alakpa.
4 Their poison [is] like the poison of a serpent: [they are] like the deaf adder [that] stoppeth her ear;
Woƒe aɖi le abe da ƒe aɖi ene. Egale abe ƒli si xe nu eƒe to me ene,
5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
eye ne gbesala ɖe gbe nɛ la, mewɔa edzi o; aleke gbegbee dzotɔ la bi ɖe gbesasa mee hã la, mesenɛ o.
6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
O, Mawu, ŋe aɖu ɖe nu me na wo, O, Yehowa, tu tsyo na dzata la!
7 Let them melt away as waters [which] run continually: [when] he bendeth [his bow to shoot] his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
Wo nu neyi abe tsi si si va yi la ene. Ne wovu woƒe dawo me la, woƒe aŋutrɔwo nu netsi.
8 As a snail [which] melteth, let [every one of them] pass away: [like] the untimely birth of a woman, [that] they may not see the sun.
Wole abe abɔbɔ si va yi, eye etoƒe bu la ene. Wonenɔ abe fu gege ene, be womakpɔ ɣe o.
9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in [his] wrath.
Hafi miaƒe zewo nase ŋutidzo si wodo ɖe wo te ŋkɔ, eɖanye mumua, alo ƒuƒua o, woakplɔ ame vɔ̃ɖi la adzoe.
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
Ame dzɔdzɔewo akpɔ dzidzɔ, ne wole hlɔ̃ biam ɖe wo nu, eye wole woƒe afɔwo klɔm ɖe ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe ʋu me.
11 So that a man shall say, Verily [there is] a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
Ekema amewo agblɔ be, “Vavã, wogale eteƒe ɖom na ame dzɔdzɔe, eye Mawu aɖe li si drɔ̃a ʋɔnu anyigba vavã.”
