Psalms 55
1 To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David. Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
൧സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്ക്; തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനം. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണമേ; എന്റെ യാചനയ്ക്ക് മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കരുതേ.
2 Attend to me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
൨എനിക്ക് ചെവിതന്ന് ഉത്തരമരുളണമേ; ശത്രുവിന്റെ കൂക്കുവിളി നിമിത്തവും ദുഷ്ടന്റെ പീഢ നിമിത്തവും ഞാൻ എന്റെ സങ്കടത്തിൽ പൊറുതിയില്ലാതെ ഞരങ്ങുന്നു.
3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
൩അവർ എന്റെ മേൽ നീതികേട് ചുമത്തുന്നു; കോപത്തോടെ എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നു.
4 My heart is severely pained within me: and the terrors of death have fallen upon me.
൪എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ വേദനപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; മരണഭീതിയും എന്റെ മേൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
5 Fearfulness and trembling have come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
൫ഭയവും വിറയലും എന്നെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പരിഭ്രമം എന്നെ മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 And I said, O that I had wings like a dove! [for then] I would fly away, and be at rest.
൬“പ്രാവിനെപ്പോലെ എനിക്ക് ചിറകുണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ! എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ പറന്നുപോയി വിശ്രമിക്കുമായിരുന്നു” എന്ന് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
7 Lo, [then] I would wander far off, [and] remain in the wilderness. (Selah)
൭അതേ, ഞാൻ ദൂരത്ത് സഞ്ചരിച്ച്, മരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാർക്കുമായിരുന്നു! (സേലാ)
8 I would hasten my escape from the windy storm [and] tempest.
൮ഞാൻ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽനിന്നും പെരുങ്കാറ്റിൽനിന്നും ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഒരു സങ്കേതത്തിലേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോകുമായിരുന്നു!
9 Destroy, O LORD, [and] divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
൯കർത്താവേ, അവരുടെ നാവുകളെ നശിപ്പിച്ച് വികലമാക്കണമേ. ഞാൻ നഗരത്തിൽ അതിക്രമവും കലഹവും കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
10 Day and night they go about it upon its walls: mischief also and sorrow [are] in the midst of it.
൧൦രാവും പകലും അവർ അതിന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേൽ ചുറ്റി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; നീതികേടും കഷ്ടവും അതിന്റെ അകത്തുണ്ട്.
11 Wickedness [is] in the midst of it: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
൧൧ദുഷ്ടത അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഉണ്ട്; ചതിവും വഞ്ചനയും അതിന്റെ വീഥികളെ വിട്ടുമാറുന്നതുമില്ല.
12 For [it was] not an enemy [that] reproached me; then I could have borne [it]: neither [was it] he that hated me [that] magnified [himself] against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
൧൨എന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ചത് ഒരു ശത്രുവല്ല; അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ സഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; എന്റെ നേരെ വമ്പ് പറഞ്ഞത് എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവനല്ല; അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ മറഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളുമായിരുന്നു.
13 But [it was] thou, a man my equal, my guide, and my acquaintance.
൧൩നീയോ എന്നോട് സമനായ മനുഷ്യനും എന്റെ സഖിയും എന്റെ പ്രാണസ്നേഹിതനുമായിരുന്നു.
14 We took sweet counsel together, [and] walked to the house of God in company.
൧൪നാം തമ്മിൽ മധുരസമ്പർക്കം ചെയ്ത് പുരുഷാരവുമായി ദൈവാലയത്തിലേക്ക് പോയിരുന്നല്ലോ.
15 Let death seize upon them, [and] let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness [is] in their dwellings, [and] among them. (Sheol h7585)
൧൫മരണം പെട്ടെന്ന് അവരെ പിടിക്കട്ടെ; അവർ ജീവനോടെ പാതാളത്തിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങട്ടെ; ദുഷ്ടത അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തും അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിലും ഉണ്ട്. (Sheol h7585)
16 As for me, I will call upon God: and the LORD will save me.
൧൬ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; യഹോവ എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he will hear my voice.
൧൭ഞാൻ വൈകുന്നേരത്തും കാലത്തും ഉച്ചയ്ക്കും സങ്കടം ബോധിപ്പിച്ച് കരയും; കർത്താവ് എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കും.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle [that was] against me: for there were many with me.
൧൮എന്നോട് എതിർത്തു നിന്നവർ അനേകം പേരായിരുന്നു. അവർ ആരും എന്നോട് അടുക്കാത്തവിധം കർത്താവ് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത് സമാധാനത്തിലാക്കി;
19 God will hear and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. (Selah) Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
൧൯കാലം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായ ദൈവം എന്റെ നിലവിളികേട്ട് അവരെ തോല്പിക്കും. (സേലാ) അവർക്ക് മാനസാന്തരമില്ല; അവർ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല.
20 He hath put forth his hands against such as are at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.
൨൦തന്നോട് സമാധാനമായിരിക്കുന്നവരെ കയ്യേറ്റം ചെയ്ത് തന്റെ സഖ്യത അവൻ ലംഘിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
21 [The words] of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war [was] in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet [were] they drawn swords.
൨൧അവന്റെ വായ് വെണ്ണപോലെ മൃദുവായത്; ഹൃദയത്തിലോ യുദ്ധമത്രേ. അവന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ എണ്ണയെക്കാൾ മയമുള്ളവ; എങ്കിലും അവ ഊരിയ വാളുകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.
22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he will sustain thee: he will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
൨൨നിന്റെ ഭാരം യഹോവയുടെമേൽ വച്ചുകൊള്ളുക; അവിടുന്ന് നിന്നെ പുലർത്തും; നീതിമാൻ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുവാൻ അവിടുന്ന് ഒരുനാളും സമ്മതിക്കുകയില്ല.
23 But thou, O God, wilt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
൨൩ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങ് അവരെ നാശത്തിന്റെ കുഴിയിലേക്ക് ഇറക്കും; കൊലപാതകവും കാപട്യവും ഉള്ളവർ ആയുസ്സിന്റെ പകുതിയോളം ജീവിക്കുകയില്ല; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കും.
