< Psalms 51 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according to the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
MAIN Kot, kom kotin maki on ia duen omui kalanan, o kotin lapwada dip ai duen ar kalanan lapalap.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Kom ketin widen ia jan ai wiawia japun, o kotin kamakel ia da jan ni dip ai.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin [is] ever before me.
Pwe i aja duen ai wiadar me jued, o dip ai me janjal on ia anjau karoj.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done [this] evil in thy sight: that thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, [and] be clear when thou judgest.
On komui eta me I wiai dip on, o wiadar japun mon jilan omui, pwe komui me pun eta ni omui majan akan, o komui makelekel eta ni omui pan kadeikada.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Kotin majani, me I ipwidier ni japun, o in ai ape kin ia dar ni man en dip.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden [part] thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Kotin majani, kom kin kotin mauki melel, me mi waja rir; kom kin kajale on ia lolekon rir.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Kom kotin kamakele kin in Ijop, pwe i en minla, widen ia, pwe i en puetepueteta jno.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; [that] the bones [which] thou hast broken may rejoice.
Kom kotiki on ia peren o popol, pwe kokon ai kan, me kom kotin kawelar, en injenemaula.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
Kom kotin jopwei jan dip a kan, o kotin lapwada ai japun karoj.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Main Kot, kom kotin wiai on ia monion makelekel, o kotin kawiliakapwada nen i.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Kom der kaje ia la jan mon jilan omui o der kotiki jan ia ar Nen Jaraui.
12 Restore to me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me [with thy] free spirit.
Kom kotin pur on kamait ia la ki omui jauaja ia, o kotiki on ia nen en kaperen.
13 [Then] will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted to thee.
I pan padaki on me katiwo kan duen al omui kan, pwe me dipan akan en wuki on komui.
14 Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: [and] my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
Main Kot, kom kotin dore ia la jan dip en nta, pwe komui Kot ai jaunkamaur, pwe lo i en kapina omui pun.
15 O LORD, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.
Main leowa, kom kotin kajar pajan kilen au ai, pwe au ai en kapikapina komui.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice: else would I give [it]: thou delightest not in burnt-offering.
Pwe kom jota kotin mauki mairon kamela a ma iei, i pan wiada o mairon ijij kom jota kotin kupura.
17 The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
A iet mairon, me Kot kin kotin kupura: Nen olar, o monion injenjuedalar, o karakarak, iei me komui Main Kot jota pan kotin mamaleki.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure to Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Kom kotin jauaja Jion ki omui kalanan, kotin kauada kel en Ierujalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt-offering and whole burnt-offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thy altar.
Komui ap pan kupura mairon pun, mairon ijij o mairon unjok. I anjau me kau ol pan ijeda pon japwilim omui pei jaraui.
