Psalms 46
1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
(Thơ của con cháu Cô-ra, theo điệu A-la-mo, soạn cho nhạc trưởng) Chúa là nơi ẩn náu, và năng lực tôi, Ngài sẵn sàng phù hộ lúc gian nan.
2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth shall be removed, and though the mountains shall be carried into the midst of the sea;
Vì thế, tôi sẽ chẳng sợ hãi, lo âu, cho dù đất sụt, núi chìm vào lòng biển,
3 [Though] its waters shall roar [and] be disturbed, [though] the mountains shake with the swelling of it. (Selah)
Dù biển gầm và sôi bọt, làm núi lay động vì nước dâng lên.
4 [There is] a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the holy [place] of the tabernacles of the Most High.
Có một dòng sông mang vui vẻ cho thành của Đức Chúa Trời, là nơi thánh của Đấng Chí Cao.
5 God [is] in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, [and that] right early.
Đức Chúa Trời ngự giữa thành ấy; không thể bị hủy diệt. Vì từ rạng đông, Đức Chúa Trời sẽ bảo vệ.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Các dân tộc náo loạn, các vương quốc suy vi! Đức Chúa Trời lên tiếng, và đất tan chảy ra!
7 The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. (Selah)
Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân ở với chúng ta, Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp là thành lũy kiên cố.
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
Hãy đến, ngắm nhìn công tác Chúa Hằng Hữu: Mặt đất tan nát vì tay Chúa đoán phạt.
9 He maketh wars to cease to the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear asunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
Chúa chấm dứt chiến tranh khắp hoàn vũ, Ngài bẻ cung, đập tan gươm giáo, Chúa đốt rụi các chiến xa.
10 Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
“Hãy yên lặng, và nhìn biết Ta là Đức Chúa Trời! Ta sẽ được tôn vinh giữa các dân. Ta sẽ được tôn cao trên đất.”
11 The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. (Selah)
Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân ở với chúng ta; Đức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp là tường thành kiên cố.
