Psalms 35
1 [A Psalm] of David. Plead [my cause], O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
१दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. हे परमेश्वरा जे माझ्याशी विरोध करतात त्यांच्याशी तू विरोध कर. जे माझ्याविरूद्ध लढतात त्यांच्याविरुद्ध तू लढ.
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.
२तुझी मोठी आणि छोटी ढाल घे, उठून मला मदत कर.
3 Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I [am] thy salvation.
३जे माझ्या पाठीस लागतात त्यांच्याविरुद्ध आपला भाला आणि कुऱ्हाड वापर. माझ्या जीवास असे म्हण, मी तुझा तारणारा आहे.
4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
४जे माझ्या जीवाच्या शोधात आहेत, ते लाजवले जावो आणि अप्रतिष्ठीत होवोत. जे माझे वाईट योजितात ते मागे फिरले जावोत व गोंधळले जावोत.
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase [them].
५ते वाऱ्याने उडून जाणाऱ्या भूशासारखे होवोत आणि परमेश्वराचा दूत त्यांना पळवून लावो.
6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
६त्यांचा मार्ग अंधारमय आणि निसरडा होऊ दे. परमेश्वराचा दूत त्यांचा पाठलाग करो.
7 For without cause they have hid for me their net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my soul.
७विनाकारण त्यांनी माझ्यासाठी आपले जाळे पसरवले आहे. विनाकारण त्यांनी माझ्यासाठी खाच खणली आहे.
8 Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
८त्यांच्यावर नाश अकस्मात येऊन गाठो, त्यांना त्यांच्याच जाळ्यात अडकू दे. त्यांच्याच नाशात ते पडोत.
9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
९परंतु मी परमेश्वराच्या ठायी आनंदी असेन, आणि त्याच्या तारणात मी हर्ष करीन.
10 All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, even the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
१०माझ्या सर्व शक्तीने मी म्हणेन, हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्यासारखा कोण आहे? जो तू सामर्थ्यवान लोकांपासून गरीबांना वाचवतोस. आणि गरीबांना आणि गरजवंताना त्याच्या लुटणाऱ्यांपासून सोडवतो.
11 False witnesses arose; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.
११अनितीमान साक्षी उठल्या आहेत; ते माझ्यावर खोटा आरोप लावतात.
12 They rewarded me evil for good [to] the spoiling of my soul.
१२माझ्या चांगल्या बद्दल ते मला वाईट परत फेड करतात. मी दु: खी आहे.
13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.
१३परंतू जेव्हा ते आजारी पडले मी तर गोणताट परीधान केले, मी त्यांच्या करता उपवास केला, मी प्रार्थना केली पण त्यांचे उत्तम मिळाले नाही.
14 I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.
१४मी त्याच्याकरिता शोक केला जणू काय तो माझा भाऊ आहे. मी खाली लवून विलाप केला जशी ती माझी आई आहे.
15 But in my adversity they rejoiced, and assembled themselves: [yes], the abjects assembled themselves against me, and I knew [it] not; they did tear [me], and ceased not:
१५परंतु मी अडखळलो असता, त्यांनी एकत्र येऊन हर्ष केला. मला माहित नसता ते माझ्याविरूद्ध एकत्र जमले.
16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
१६आदर न बाळगता त्यांनी माझी थट्ट केली. त्यांनी आपले दातओठ माझ्यावर खाल्ले.
17 LORD, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
१७परमेश्वरा, तू किती वेळ नुसता बघत राहाणार आहेस? माझा जीव नाश करणाऱ्या हल्यांपासून आणि माझे जीवन सिंहापासून वाचव.
18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among many people.
१८मोठ्या सभेत मी तुझी स्तुती करेन. लोकांमध्ये मी तुझी स्तुती करेन.
19 Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
१९माझ्या शत्रूंस अन्यायाने माझ्यावर हर्ष करू देऊ नको.
20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against [them that are] quiet in the land.
२०कारण ते शांतीने बोलत नाही, परंतु ते देशातील शांततापूर्ण असणाऱ्यांविरूद्ध कपटाच्या गोष्टी बोलतात.
21 Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, [and] said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen [it].
२१ते आपले मुख माझ्याविरोधात उघडतात, ते म्हणतात, अहाहा, अहाहा, आमच्या डोळ्यांने हे पाहिले आहे.
22 [This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O LORD, be not far from me.
२२हे परमेश्वरा, तू हे पाहिले आहेस? तर शांत राहू नको. देवा, माझ्यापासून दूर राहू नको.
23 Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, [even] to my cause, my God and my LORD.
२३हे देवा, माझ्या प्रभू, ऊठ, माझ्या न्यायासाठी आणि वादासाठी लढ.
24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
२४परमेश्वरा माझ्या देवा, माझे रक्षण कर, तुझ्या न्यायीपणामुळे, त्यांना माझ्यावर हर्ष नको करू देऊ.
25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
२५“आम्हांला हवे होते ते मिळाले,” असे त्यांना आपल्या हृदयात नको बोलू देऊ. “आम्ही त्याचा नाश केला” असे त्यांना म्हणू देऊ नकोस.
26 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify [themselves] against me.
२६जे माझ्या वाईटावर उठले आहेत, ते सगळे लज्जीत होवो आणि गोंधळून जावो. जे माझी थट्टा करतात ते लज्जेत आणि अप्रतिष्ठेत झाकले जावो.
27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
२७जे माझ्या इच्छेला समर्थन करतात ते हर्षनाद करोत आणि आनंदी होवोत. जे आपल्या सेवकाच्या कल्याणात हर्ष पावतात, परमेश्वराची स्तुती असो, असे ते सतत म्हणोत.
28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
२८तेव्हा मी तुझ्या न्यायाबद्दल सांगेन, आणि तुझी स्तुती दिवसभर करीन.
