Psalms 33
1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: [for] praise is comely for the upright.
Радуйтеся, праведнии, о Господе: правым подобает похвала.
2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing to him with the psaltery [and] an instrument of ten strings.
Исповедайтеся Господеви в гуслех, во псалтири десятоструннем пойте Ему:
3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
воспойте Ему песнь нову, добре пойте Ему со восклицанием:
4 For the word of the LORD [is] right; and all his works [are done] in truth.
яко право слово Господне, и вся дела Его в вере.
5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
Любит милостыню и суд Господь, милости Господни исполнь земля.
6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Словом Господним небеса утвердишася, и духом уст Его вся сила их:
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap: he layeth up the depth in store-houses.
собираяй яко мех воды морския, полагаяй в сокровищих бездны.
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Да убоится Господа вся земля, от Негоже да подвижутся вси живущии по вселенней:
9 For he spoke, and it was [done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.
яко Той рече, и быша: Той повеле, и создашася.
10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to naught: he maketh the devices of the people of no effect.
Господь разоряет советы языков, отметает же мысли людий и отметает советы князей.
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Совет же Господень во век пребывает, помышления сердца Его в род и род.
12 Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD; [and] the people [whom] he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Блажен язык, емуже есть Господь Бог Его, людие, яже избра в наследие Себе.
13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
С небесе призре Господь, виде вся сыны человеческия:
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
от готоваго жилища Своего призре на вся живущыя на земли:
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
создавый на едине сердца их, разумеваяй на вся дела их.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
Не спасается царь многою силою, и исполин не спасется множеством крепости своея.
17 A horse [is] a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver [any] by his great strength.
Ложь конь во спасение, во множестве же силы своея не спасется.
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD [is] upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Се, очи Господни на боящыяся Его, уповающыя на милость Его:
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
избавити от смерти душы их, и препитати я в глад.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he [is] our help and our shield.
Душа же наша чает Господа, яко помощник и защититель наш есть:
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
яко о Нем возвеселится сердце наше, и во имя святое Его уповахом.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Буди, Господи, милость Твоя на нас, якоже уповахом на Тя.
