< Psalms 3 >

1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they multiplied that trouble me? many [are] they that rise up against me.
Abụ Ọma Devid. Nke o dere mgbe o si nʼihu Absalọm gbapụ ọsọ ndụ. O Onyenwe anyị, ọnụọgụgụ ndị iro m dị ọtụtụ. Ọtụtụ ndị mmadụ na-ebili imegide m.
2 Many [there are] who say of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. (Selah)
Ọtụtụ nʼime ha na-ekwu banyere m sị, “Chineke agaghị azọpụta ya.” (Sela)
3 But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
Ma gị, Onyenwe anyị bụ ọta na-ekpuchi m; I na-ebuli isi m elu na-eme ka m bụrụ onye nwere nsọpụrụ.
4 I cried to the LORD with my voice, and he heard me from his holy hill. (Selah)
Etikuru m Onyenwe anyị mkpu akwa, ọ nụkwara olu m, sitekwa nʼugwu nsọ ya za m. (Sela)
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
Edinara m ala, hie ụra, ma bilikwa nʼụtụtụ nʼudo, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị na-eche m nche.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me on all sides.
A sịkwa na iri puku kwụrụ puku ndị iro agbaa m gburugburu, agaghị m atụ egwu ọbụla.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all my enemies [upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Bilie Onyenwe anyị! Zọpụta m Chineke m! Tie ndị iro m niile aka nʼagba; tipụkwa ndị ajọ omume eze nʼọnụ.
8 Salvation [belongeth] to the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. (Selah)
Nʼihi na nzọpụta na-esite nʼebe Onyenwe anyị nọ na-abịa. Ka ngọzị gị dịịrị ndị gị niile. (Sela)
