Psalms 29

1 A Psalm of David. Give to the LORD, O ye mighty, give to the LORD glory and strength.

Psalm Dawida. Oddajcie PANU, synowie mocarzy, oddajcie PANU chwałę i moc.

2 Give to the LORD, the glory due to his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Oddajcie PANU chwałę [należną] jego imieniu, oddajcie PANU pokłon w ozdobie świętości.

3 The voice of the LORD [is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD [is] upon many waters.

Głos PANA nad wodami; zagrzmiał Bóg chwały, PAN nad wielkimi wodami.

4 The voice of the LORD [is] powerful; the voice of the LORD [is] full of majesty.

Głos PANA potężny, głos PANA pełen majestatu.

5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yes, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

Głos PANA łamie cedry, PAN łamie cedry Libanu;

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

I sprawia, że skaczą jak cielę, Liban i Sirion jak młody jednorożec.

7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

Głos PANA krzesze płomienie ognia.

8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

Głos PANA wstrząsa pustynią, PAN wstrząsa pustynią Kadesz.

9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and maketh bare the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of [his] glory.

Głos PANA sprawia, że z bólem rodzą łanie i ogołacają się lasy, a w jego świątyni każdy opowiada o [jego] chwale.

10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yes, the LORD sitteth king for ever.

PAN zasiada nad potopem, PAN zasiada [jako] Król na wieki.

11 The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

PAN doda mocy swojemu ludowi, PAN pobłogosławi swój lud pokojem.
