Psalms 24

1 A Psalm of David. The earth [is] the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Nchi ni ya Yahwe, na vyote viijazavyo, dunia, na wote wakaao ndani yake.

2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Kwa kuwa yeye aliianzisha juu ya bahari na kuiimarisha juu ya mito.

3 Who shall ascend upon the hill of the LORD? and who shall stand in his holy place?

Ni nani atakaye panda mlima wa Yahwe? Ni nani atakaye simama patakatifu pake?

4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Yeye ambaye ana mikono misafi na moyo safi; ambaye hajauinua uongo, na haja apa kiapo ili kudanganya.

5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Yeye atapokea baraka kutoka kwa Yahwe na haki kutoka kwa Mungu wa wokovu wake.

6 This [is] the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. (Selah)

Kizazi cha wale wamtafutao Mungu ni kama hiki, wale ambao wanautafuta uso wa Mungu wa Yakobo.

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Inueni vichwa vyenu, ninyi malango; muinuliwe juu, milango ya milango ya kudumu, ili kwamba Mfalme wa utukufu aweze kuingia!

8 Who [is] this King of glory? the LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Huyu Mfalme wa utukufu ni nani? Yahwe, mwenye nguvu na uweza; Yahwe, mwenye uweza katika vita.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Inueni vichwa vyenu, ninyi malango; muinuliwe juu, milango ya kudumu, ili kwamba Mfalme wa utukufu aweze kuingia!

10 Who is this King of glory? the LORD of hosts, he [is] the King of glory. (Selah)

Huyu Mfalme wa utukufu ni nani? Yahwe wa majeshi, yeye ni Mfalme wa utukufu.
