< Psalms 24 >

1 A Psalm of David. The earth [is] the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Thaburi ya Daudi Thĩ nĩ ya Jehova, na kĩrĩa gĩothe kĩrĩ thĩinĩ wayo, mabũrũri mothe o na arĩa matũũraga kuo;
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
nĩgũkorwo nĩwe waakire mũthingi wayo igũrũ rĩa maria, na akĩmĩrũmia ĩikare igũrũ rĩa maaĩ.
3 Who shall ascend upon the hill of the LORD? and who shall stand in his holy place?
Nũũ ũngĩambata kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa Jehova? Nũũ ũngĩrũgama handũ harĩa hake haamũre?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
Nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa ũrĩ na moko matheru na akaaga ũũru ngoro, na ũrĩa ngoro yake ĩtahooyaga mũhianano, o na kana akeehĩta na maheeni.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Mũndũ ũcio nĩarĩamũkagĩra kĩrathimo kuuma kũrĩ Jehova, na onagwo atarĩ mũhĩtia nĩ Ngai, Mũhonokia wake.
6 This [is] the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. (Selah)
Ũguo nĩguo rũciaro rwa arĩa mamũrongoragia rũtariĩ, o rũrĩa rũrongoragia ũthiũ waku, Wee Ngai wa Jakubu.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Ambarariai mĩtwe yanyu, inyuĩ ihingo ici, ambararioi inyuĩ mĩrango ĩno ya tene, nĩguo Mũthamaki wa riiri atoonye thĩinĩ.
8 Who [is] this King of glory? the LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Mũthamaki ũcio wa riiri nĩwe ũũ? Nĩwe Jehova ũrĩa ũrĩ hinya na nĩ njamba, nĩwe Jehova ũrĩa njamba ita-inĩ.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Ambarariai mĩtwe yanyu, inyuĩ ihingo ici, mĩambarariei inyuĩ mĩrango ĩno ya tene, nĩguo Mũthamaki wa riiri atoonye thĩinĩ.
10 Who is this King of glory? the LORD of hosts, he [is] the King of glory. (Selah)
Mũthamaki ũcio wa riiri nĩwe ũ? Jehova Mwene-Hinya-Wothe-rĩ, nĩwe Mũthamaki wa riiri.
