Psalms 23

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want.

Um salmo de David. Yahweh é meu pastor; Nada me faltará.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Ele me faz deitar em pastos verdes. Ele me conduz ao lado de águas paradas.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Ele restaura minha alma. Ele me guia nos caminhos da retidão por causa de seu nome.

4 Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shades of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Embora eu caminhe pelo vale da sombra da morte, Eu não temerei nenhum mal, pois vocês estão comigo. Seu bastão e seu pessoal, eles me confortam.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Você prepara uma mesa diante de mim na presença de meus inimigos. Você unta minha cabeça com óleo. Meu copo transborda.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Certamente a bondade e a bondade amorosa me acompanharão todos os dias da minha vida, e eu morarei na casa de Yahweh para sempre.
