< Psalms 21 >

1 To the chief Musician, a Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Abụ Ọma Devid. O Onyenwe anyị, lee na eze na-aṅụrị ọṅụ nʼike gị. Obi na-atọkwa ya ụtọ nke ukwuu nʼihi mmeri niile i nyere ya!
2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withheld the request of his lips. (Selah)
I nyela ya ihe obi ya chọrọ; i mekwaara ya ihe niile ọ rịọrọ gị! (Sela)
3 For thou hast met him with the blessings of goodness: thou hast set a crown of pure gold on his head.
I ji ngọzị bara ụba nabata ya, ọ bụkwa okpueze e ji ọlaedo a ṅụchara nke ọma kpụọ ka i kpukwasịrị ya nʼisi.
4 He asked life of thee, [and] thou gavest [it] to him, [even] length of days for ever and ever.
Ọ rịọrọ ka i nye ya ndụ, i zara ekpere ya mekwaa ka o nwee ogologo ndụ nke ga-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
5 His glory [is] great in thy salvation: honor and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
Nsọpụrụ ya dị ukwuu site na mmeri niile i nyere ya, ebube na ịma mma bụ onyinye i nyere ya.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
Nʼezie, i nyela ya ngọzị na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi, i mere ka o nwee obi ụtọ nke na-esite nʼọṅụ nke nọnyere gị.
7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
Nʼihi na eze na-atụkwasị Onyenwe anyị obi, agaghị ewezuga ya nʼọnọdụ ya site nʼịhụnanya nke Onye kachasị ihe niile elu nke na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ.
8 Thy hand shall find out all thy enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Ị ga-anwụchi ndị iro gị niile; aka nri gị ga-ejidekwa ndị kpọrọ gị asị.
9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thy anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
Mgbe ị pụtara ịlụ ọgụ, ị ga-erepịa ha dịka ọkụ nke na-enwu ajọ onwunwu. Nʼoke iwe ya, Onyenwe anyị ga-elo ha, ọkụ ya ga-erepịakwa ha.
10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
Ị ga-esite nʼelu ụwa laa agbụrụ ha niile nʼiyi, ụmụ ha kwa site, nʼetiti ụmụ mmadụ.
11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, [which] they are not able [to perform].
Nʼagbanyeghị na ha nwere ike ịpịa ọpịpịa ọjọọ megide gị, maọbụ tụpụta atụmatụ ọjọọ, ha agaghị emezu ebumnuche ha.
12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, [when] thou shalt make ready [thy arrows] upon thy strings against the face of them.
Nʼihi na i ga-eme ka ha gbaghachi azụ mgbe i kwere ụta gị tụgide ha nʼihu.
13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thy own strength: [so] will we sing and praise thy power.
O Onyenwe anyị, ka e bulie gị elu nʼihi ike gị; anyị ga-abụ abụ ma tokwaa ike gị.
