< Psalms 2 >
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Apay nga agrebelde dagiti nasion, ken agtutulag dagiti tattao iti awan serserbina?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
Agkaykaysa nga agsagana dagiti ari iti daga ken agkaykaysa dagiti mangiturturay nga agtutulag a maibusor kenni Yahweh ken iti Mesiasna, a kunada,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
“Pugsatentayo dagiti posas nga inkabilda kadatayo ken ibellengtayo dagiti kawarda.”
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
Isuna a nakatugaw kadagiti langit, uyawennanto ida; lalaisen ti Apo ida.
5 Then shall he speak to them in his wrath, and trouble them in his sore displeasure.
Ket agsao isuna kadakuada iti ungetna ken butbutngenna ida iti pungtotna, a kunana,
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
Siak a mismo ti nangpulot iti arik idiay Sion, ti nasantoan a bantayko.”
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said to me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Ipakaammokto ti bilin ni Yahweh. Kinunana kaniak, “Sika ti anakko! Ita nga aldaw, nagbalinak nga amam.
8 Ask of me, and I will give [thee] the heathen [for] thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.
Agkiddawka kaniak, ket itedko kenka dagiti nasion a tawidmo ken dagiti kaadaywan a rehion iti daga a sanikuam.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Burakemto ida babaen iti setro a landok; rumekemto ida a kasla banga ti agdamdamili.”
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Isu nga ita, dakayo nga ari, maballaagankayo; masuroankayo, dakayo a mangiturturay iti daga.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Dayawenyo ni Yahweh nga addaan panagbuteng ken agrag-okayo nga addaan panagpigerger.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
Agkanyo ti anak amangan no makaungetto isuna kadakayo, ket mataykayo iti dalan inton dagus a sumged ti ungetna. Anian a nagasat dagiti amin nga agkamang kenkuana.
