< Psalms 19 >
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth the work of his hands.
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Dawid dwom. Ɔsoro ka Onyankopɔn anuonyam! Wim pae mu ka ne nsa ano adwuma,
2 Day to day uttereth speech, and night to night showeth knowledge.
Da biara, wɔkasa; anadwo biara, wɔda nimdeɛ adi.
3 [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard.
Wonni ɔkasa, wɔnnka nsɛm; wɔnnte wɔn nne.
4 Their line hath gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Wɔn nne akodu asase so mmaa nyinaa, na wɔn nsɛm nso akodu asase ano. Onyankopɔn asi ntamadan ama owia wɔ ɔsoro hɔ.
5 Which [is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, [and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
Ɛte sɛ ayeforokunu a ofi ne pia mu, te sɛ ɔbran a ne ho pere no sɛ obetu ne mmirika.
6 His going forth [is] from the end of the heaven, and his circuit to the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from his heat.
Epue wɔ ɔsoro fa baabi na atwa ne ho akosi ano; biribiara nsiw ne hyew ho kwan.
7 The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple.
Awurade mmara yɛ pɛ, ɛkanyan ɔkra no. Ahotoso wɔ Awurade nhyehyɛe mu, ɛma nea onnim nyansa hu nyansa.
8 The statutes of the LORD [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.
Awurade ahyɛde teɛ; ɛma koma mu anigye. Awurade ɔhyɛ nsɛm mu da hɔ; na ebue ani.
9 The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.
Awurade suro yɛ kronkron, ɛte hɔ daa. Awurade mmara nsɛm yɛ nokware na ne nyinaa teɛ.
10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yes, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.
Ɛsom bo sen sikakɔkɔɔ ɛsen sikakɔkɔɔ kann; ɛyɛ dɛ sen ɛwo, ɛsen ɛwo a efi ɛwokyɛm mu.
11 Moreover, by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.
Wɔnam so bɔ wo somfo kɔkɔ se, sodi so akatua yɛ bebree.
12 Who can understand [his] errors? cleanse thou me from secret [faults].
Hena na ohu nʼankasa mfomso? Fa me mfomso a ahintaw kyɛ me.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Bɔ wʼakoa ho ban fi ɔboayɛ bɔne ho, na anhyɛ me so. Ɛno na ɛbɛma madi bem, a merenni fɔ wɔ bɔne akɛse ho.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Ma mʼanom nsɛm ne me koma mu adwene nyɛ nea ɛsɔ wʼani, Awurade me Botan ne me Gyefo.
