< Psalms 19 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth the work of his hands.
Kathutkung: Devit Kalvannaw ni Cathut bawilennae a pathang awh. Kakaw poung e kalvan ni a kutsak tie a kamnue sak.
2 Day to day uttereth speech, and night to night showeth knowledge.
Khosei ni khodai koe lawk a dei teh, karum ni karum koe a cangkhai.
3 [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard.
Lawk dei e, lawk kâpan e ahnimae pahni dawk hoi thai hoeh eiteh,
4 Their line hath gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
ahnimae lawk teh talai van pueng a cei teh, talai poutnae koe totouh a pha. Ahnimouh koevah, kanî hanelah lukkareiim a ta pouh.
5 Which [is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, [and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
Hahoi, kanî teh, yupaluenkung imrakhan thung hoi ka tâcawt e patetlah ao teh, yawngkâtânae koe a tha kaawm poung e, konawm laihoi ka yawng hane patetlah ao.
6 His going forth [is] from the end of the heaven, and his circuit to the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from his heat.
Avang lae kalvan apoutnae koehoi, a tâco teh, avanglae kalvan apoutnae koe totouh, a kâhei dawkvah, a kâannae dawk hoi kahlout e awm hoeh.
7 The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple.
BAWIPA e kâlawk teh akuep dawkvah, hringnae a roung sak. BAWIPA e lawkpanuesaknae teh a kamceng dawkvah, kamawngrame hah a lung a ang sak.
8 The statutes of the LORD [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.
BAWIPA e phunglawk teh a lan teh, lungthin a konawm sak. BAWIPA ni kâpoe e teh a thoung teh, mit a ang sak.
9 The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.
BAWIPA takinae teh a thoung teh, a yungyoe a kangning. BAWIPA lawkcengnae teh a lan teh, katang e lah ao.
10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yes, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.
Sui hlak hai sôlêi e sui hlak hai ngai hanelah ao. Khoitui hoi khoipha hlak hai a radiphnawn.
11 Moreover, by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.
Hothloilah, hotnaw hno lahoi na san hah kâhruetcuet na poe teh, hote lawknaw tarawinae tawkphu teh a len poung.
12 Who can understand [his] errors? cleanse thou me from secret [faults].
Apimaw mae payonnae ka panuek thai. Pâpha e payonnae dawk hoi na thoung sak haw.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Na san heh yonnae ka sak hoeh nahanlah, thama lahoi na kuen nateh, hotnaw teh ka lathueng vah kâ tawn sak hanh.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Oe BAWIPA, ka thaonae hoi na ka ratangkung, ka dei e dawk hoi ka pouk e naw heh, na mithmu vah na lung ka youk lah awm seh.
