Psalms 16
1 Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
Guárdame, o! Dios: porque en ti he confiado.
2 [O my soul], thou hast said to the LORD, Thou [art] my LORD: my goodness [extendeth] not to thee;
Dijiste, o! alma mía, a Jehová: Tú eres, Señor; mi bien no viene a ti:
3 [But] to the saints that [are] in the earth, and [to] the excellent, in whom [is] all my delight.
A los santos que están en la tierra, y a los fuertes, toda mi voluntad en ellos.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied [that] hasten [after] another [god]: their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names into my lips.
Multiplicarán sus dolores de los que se apresuraren tras otro dios; no derramaré sus derramaduras de sangre, ni tomaré sus nombres en mis labios.
5 The LORD [is] the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
Jehová la porción de mi parte, y de mi vaso: tú sustentarás mi suerte.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant [places]; yes, I have a goodly heritage.
Las cuerdas me cayeron en lugares deleitosos: asimismo la heredad se hermoseó sobre mí.
7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night season.
Bendeciré a Jehová, que me aconseja; aun en las noches me enseñan mis riñones.
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
A Jehová he puesto delante de mí siempre: porque estando él a mi diestra, no seré conmovido.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Por tanto se alegró mi corazón, y se gozó mi gloria: también mi carne reposará segura.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)
Porque no dejarás mi alma en el sepulcro: ni darás tu Santo para que vea corrupción. (Sheol h7585)
11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fullness of joy; at thy right hand [are] pleasures for evermore.
Hacerme has saber la senda de la vida, hartura de alegrías hay con tu rostro: deleites en tu diestra para siempre.
