Psalms 16
1 Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
हे परमेश्वर, मेरो रक्षा गर्नुहोस्, किनकि म तपाईंमा शरण लिन्छु ।
2 [O my soul], thou hast said to the LORD, Thou [art] my LORD: my goodness [extendeth] not to thee;
म परमप्रभुलाई भन्छु, “तपाईं मेरो परमप्रभु हुनुहुन्छ; तपाईंबाहेक मेरो असल कुरा केही छैन ।
3 [But] to the saints that [are] in the earth, and [to] the excellent, in whom [is] all my delight.
पृथ्वीमा भएका पवित्र मानिसहरूका बारेमा, तिनीहरू सज्जन मानिसहरू हुन् । मेरा सबै खुसी तिनीहरूमा नै छ ।
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied [that] hasten [after] another [god]: their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names into my lips.
तिनीहरू जसले अरू ईश्वरहरूको खोजी गर्छन्, तिनीहरूका कष्टहरू बढ्नेछन् । तिनीहरूका ईश्वरहरूलाई रगतको अर्घबलि म चढाउनेछैन वा मेरा ओठहरूले तिनीहरूका नाउँहरू लिनेछैन ।
5 The LORD [is] the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
हे परमप्रभु, तपाईं मेरो चुनिएको हिस्सा र मेरो कचौरा हुनुहुन्छ । तपाईंले मेरो भाग राख्नुहुन्छ ।
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant [places]; yes, I have a goodly heritage.
रमणीय ठाउँहरूमा मेरो निम्ति नापका रेखाहरू राखिएका छन् । निश्चय नै मनोहर उत्तराधिकार मरै हो ।
7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night season.
मलाई सल्लाह दिनुहुने परमप्रभुलाई म धन्यको भन्नेछु । रातको समयमा पनि मेरो मनले मलाई शिक्षा दिन्छ ।
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
हर समय म परमप्रभुलाई नै मेरो सामु राख्छु, त्यसरी म उहाँको दाहिने हातबाट डग्नेछैन ।
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
यसकारण मेरो हृदय खुसी छ । मेरो महिमा आनन्दित छ । निश्चय नै म सुरक्षामा जिउनेछु ।
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)
किनकि तपाईंले मरो प्राणलाई चिहानमा त्यग्नुहुनेछैन । तपाईंले आफ्नो विश्वासयोग्यलाई खाडल देख्न दिनुहुन्न । (Sheol h7585)
11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fullness of joy; at thy right hand [are] pleasures for evermore.
तपाईंले मलाई जीवनको बाटो सिकाउनुहुन्छ । तपाईंको उपस्थितिमा प्रशस्त आनन्दले वास गर्छ, तपाईंको दाहिने हातमा खुसी सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।”
