< Psalms 16 >
1 Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
Nzembo ya Davidi. Nzambe, batela ngai, pamba te nabombami kati na Yo.
2 [O my soul], thou hast said to the LORD, Thou [art] my LORD: my goodness [extendeth] not to thee;
Nalobaka na Yawe: « Ozali Nkolo na ngai, Yo moko kaka nde ozali bolamu na ngai. »
3 [But] to the saints that [are] in the earth, and [to] the excellent, in whom [is] all my delight.
Natatolaka na tina na basantu oyo bazali kati na mboka ete bazali penza bato minene oyo nasepelaka na bango makasi.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied [that] hasten [after] another [god]: their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names into my lips.
Bato oyo bapotaka mbangu mpo na koluka bolamu epai ya banzambe mosusu bakomona pasi mingi. Nakosopa te mbeka na bango ya makila epai ya banzambe ya lolenge wana mpe nakotanga bakombo na yango te na bibebu na ngai.
5 The LORD [is] the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
Yawe, Yo moko kaka nde ozali libula mpe bomoi na ngai; ozali ndanga ya bozwi na ngai.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant [places]; yes, I have a goodly heritage.
Nazwi etando ya motuya makasi, ezali libula ya kitoko penza mpo na ngai!
7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night season.
Nakopambola Yawe oyo apesaka ngai toli mpe, ezala na butu, angengisaka makanisi na ngai.
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Natalelaka Yawe tango nyonso, pamba te azali pene na ngai mpo ete naningana te.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Yango wana motema na ngai etondi na esengo, molimo na ngai ezali kosepela, nzoto na ngai mpe ekopema na kimia.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol )
Oh Yawe, okosundola ngai te kati na mboka ya bakufi, okotika mpe te ete mosantu na Yo apola. (Sheol )
11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fullness of joy; at thy right hand [are] pleasures for evermore.
Okolakisa ngai nzela ya bomoi; okotondisa ngai na esengo kati na bozalisami na Yo, elongo na bilengi ya suka te na ngambo ya loboko na Yo ya mobali.
