< Psalms 141 >
1 A Psalm of David. LORD, I cry to thee: make haste to me; give ear to my voice, when I cry to thee.
Aw Angraeng, nang to kang kawk; kai khaeah karangah angzo ah; nang kang kawk naah, ka lok hae tahngai pae ah.
2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee [as] incense; [and] the lifting up of my hands [as] the evening sacrifice.
Lawk ka thuihaih to na hmaa ah hmuihoih baktih, ka payangh ih ban loe duembang ah sak ih angbawnhaih baktiah om nasoe.
3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
Aw Angraeng, ka pakha ah toepkung to na suem pae ah; kai ih pahni thok hae na toep pae ah.
4 Incline not my heart to [any] evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
Kahoih ai hmuen to sak hanah, kai ih palung hae kahoih ai hmuen sah kaminawk hoi nawnto paqoi hmah; nihcae ih caaknaeknawk doeh na pacah hmah.
5 Let the righteous smite me; [it shall be] a kindness: and let him reprove me; [it shall be] an excellent oil, [which] shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also [shall be] in their calamities.
6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
Nihcae ukkungnawk amngoe taengah vah o naah loe, ka thuih ih loknawk loe luep pongah, nihcae mah ka thuih ih loknawk to thaih o.
7 Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [wood] upon the earth. (Sheol )
Thing to boeng moe, long ah pakhoih baktih toengah, taprong taengah kaicae ih ahuhnawk to a haeh o phang. (Sheol )
8 But my eyes [are] to thee, O GOD the LORD: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
Toe, Aw Angraeng Sithaw, ka mik mah loe nang ni ang danh; kai loe nang khaeah ni kam ha; ka hinghaih hae raihaih hoiah na caeh taak hmah.
9 Keep me from the snare [which] they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
Kai han patung ih thaang hoi kasae sah kaminawk mah patung ih dongnawk thung hoiah na loisak ah.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst I escape.
