Psalms 137

1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yes, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

當我們坐在巴比倫河畔，一起想熙雍即淚流滿面。

2 We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst of it.

在那地的楊柳間，掛起我們的琴絃。

3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us [required of us] mirth, [saying], Sing us [one] of the songs of Zion.

因那些俘虜我們的，要我們唱歌，那些迫害我們的，還要我們奏樂：快些來給我們唱一支熙雍的歌!

4 How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a foreign land?

但我們身處外鄉異域，怎能謳唱上主的歌曲？

5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget [her skill].

耶路撒冷！我如果將您忘掉，願我的右手枯焦！

6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

我若不懷念您，不以耶路撒冷為喜樂，就寧願我的舌頭緊緊貼在我的上顎！

7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Raze [it], raze [it], [even] to its foundation.

上主，求您記住厄東的子民，在耶路撒冷蒙難的時辰，他們曾喊叫說：拆毀，拆毀！夷為平地，一直見到基礎，

8 O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy [shall he be], that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

您只知破壞的巴比倫女子！誰若依照您加給我們的災痍，也焄樣報復於您，他就得福祺。

9 Happy [shall he be], that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

誰若抓起您的嬰兒幼子，摔在盤石上，他就得福祺。
